(Clearwisdom.net) Before practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Qin Hongyu did not have a good relationship with her husband. She was severely depressed and her health was deteriorating. After she started practicing Falun Gong in 1997, her health has improved significantly. She was much more cheerful and the family relationship improved.
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Qin has been arrested many times. She was arrested by officers from Jixian Police Station on June 14, 2008, when she was handing out truth-clarification materials to people in Liupao Village in Jixian Township. The deputy director of Jixian County Police Department Geng Zhendong, head of the Domestic Security Division Wu Hua and others took her to Harbin Forced Labor Camp on August 1, 2008.
Three officers from Qianjin Police Station in Jixian County broke into Ms. Qi Hongyu's home on August 5, 2011 and arrested her. When her family members went to the police station to demand her release, they were turned away. Ms. Qi was then transferred to another province. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
Geng Zhendong and Wu Hua took police officers to break into the Jianxin Middle School cafeteria at around 7:20 a.m., on June 10, 2011, where they arrested practitioners Ms. Dai Lixia, Ms. Luan Xiuyuan and Mr. Jiao Lingyun. Ms. Luan and Ms. Dai are being held at Jiamusi Detention Center. Mr. Jiao died as a result of persecution on July 8.
