Ms. Li shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Several people gathered to see what was happening, and observed the officials injecting something into Ms. Li's arm. Ms. Li was immediately rendered unable to speak. Her mouth and tongue became stiff and saliva constantly dripped from her mouth.

Torture reenactment: Injecting a toxic drug

When Ms. Li started practicing Falun Gong, she benefited greatly from the practice. Her health improved and she developed benevolence. However, six months later, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong. Ms. Li maintained a strong belief that the practice is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, so she was steadfast in her Falun Gong practice. As a result, she has been persecuted during the past twelve years by the CCP regime.

Ms. Li has previously been arrested on several occasions and also had her home ransacked. She was forced to relocate in order to avoid additional persecution. She was put into forced labor camps twice, and was subjected to severe torture. Guards and inmates beat her, made her stand for extended periods, handcuffed her, deprived her of sleep, smeared balm in her eyes, denied her restroom use, starved her, and forced her to do hard labor.

Three Longmatan District Court officers in Luzhou forced Ms. Li into a car at around 9:00 a.m. on August 3, 2010, and then took her to the Longmatan District Court to stand trial.

Mr. Li is currently being held at the Naxi Detention Center of Luzhou.
