Ms. Wang from Pingan Town is currently on a hunger strike to protest after being detained. According to her mother, she is now detained in the Changchun Prison Hospital and was injected with unknown drugs.

2. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhao Lianshan and Five Other Practitioners Detained in Linzhou City Police Station

Someone reported Mr. Zhao Lianshan, Mr. Li Xianrui, Ms. Ping Meihua, Ms. Qin Haixian and Ms. Wang Huiyin while they were clarifying the facts on the afternoon of July 17, 2011. They were illegally arrested by Linzhou Domestic Security Division agents and sent to the Linzhou City Police Department's Detention Center.

Mr. Wu Baoyuan, an employee of the Shihengte Steel Factory, was arrested on the evening of July 7, 2011 and his home was ransacked. He is currently in the Feicheng City Detention Center.

5. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Lu Yong Detained and Persecuted for Nearly Nine Months

Mr. Lu Yong from the Tieshan District was arrested by police on October 31, 2010 and is still in custody today-- nearly nine months of this report.

6. [Xinle City, Hebei Province] Mr. Kang Tonglin Sprayed in the Face with Toxic Substance

Several Xinle police station officials tried to arrest Mr. Kang Tonglin, an employee of the instrument workshop at Xinle City Xinhua Company, on the morning of July 18, 2011 while he was on his way to work. They wanted to take him to the Shijiazhuang Brainwashing Center. Mr. Kang resisted. The police sprayed his face with unknown toxic substances, and he collapsed onto the ground. The police wanted to take him to a vehicle, but Mr. Kang's family came out to help and foiled the attempt. Mr. Kang took a long time to recover from the attack. He could not open his eyes; the more he washed, the more his eyes stung, and his throat felt dry.

7. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Chaogui and Other Practitioners Arrested and Taken to the Taohuayuan Brainwashing Center in Huangguashan

Mr. Li Chaogui and Mr. Kuang Minghua were arrested and taken to the Taohuayuan Brainwashing Center in Huangguashan on the afternoon of June 15. Fourteen practitioners from Yongchuan had already been taken to the same center.

8. [Xiangfen, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Xiaoyun and Ms. Zhang Yanwen to Face Trial

Ms. Li Xiaoyun from Xiangfen County and Ms. Zhang Yanwen from Shenyang were arrested on February 1, 2011; both will be tried on July 20.

9. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Guo Mingqing's Current Circumstances; Additional Information about Other Practitioners

Six officials from the Shuangqing District Police Department, the Domestic Security Division and city 610 Office supervisor Xie Anping broke into Ms. Guo Mingqing's home on June 21, 2001 and took her to the local brainwashing center by force. The next day they ransacked her home, taking away her Falun Dafa books, a portrait of Falun Gong founder Master Li Hongzhi, and other belongings. Ms Guo began a hunger strike to protest. She was transferred to a detention center on July 15 and was going to be sent to a forced labor camp, but once she arrived at the detention center the officials refused to accept her because of the hunger strike.

Mr. Xiao Chongjian, Ms. Liu Ailian and a dozen other practitioners were arrested at the same time.

10. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zheng Shuxia and Mr. Mao Wenzeng Arrested

56-year-old Ms. Zheng Shuxia, an employee at the Changle County Transport Company, was arrested from her home. Chengxi Police Station agents in Changle County ransacked her home on the afternoon of July 11, 2011. The police confiscated a portrait of Master Li, the Falun Dafa DVD lecture series, and Falun Dafa books and brochures. She was subsequently taken to a detention center.

Mr. Mao Wenzeng from Xiajia Village, Baocheng Jiedao, Changle County was arrested on the afternoon of July 14, 2011. Participating in the arrest were Baocheng Jiedao Police Station personnel. His Falun Dafa books and brochures were confiscated.

11. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Update Regarding Ms. Yang Jun's Disappearance

Ms. Yang Jun is over 40 years old. She disappeared several months ago. She is currently in Shenyang Women's Prison and after being sentenced to three years imprisonment.

12. [Jieyang, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhong Liena and Mr Rong Duan Arrested

Local police in Caitang, Chaoan County arrested Ms. Zhong Liena and Mr. Rong Duan on July 18. That night they were transferred to Chaozhou City Detention Center.

13. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Shumei Detained and Her Family Harassed

Ms. Yang Shumei was detained in the Heizuizi Women's Prison Education Ward. She is now in the emergency section of the prison hospital.

Nongan County Domestic Security Division head Tang Ke and Yangshulin Village Police Station head Li Junchao went to Ms. Yang's home again on the afternoon of July 14 to harass her family and husband.

14. [Chongqing] Ms. Xia Biying and Mr. Cao Junlu Arrested

Ms. Xia Biying is over 50 years old and lives in Jiangbei. Around 8:20 a.m. on July 20, she went to open her shop and was forcibly taken to the Tieshanping Brainwashing Center by a group of people.

Mr. Cao Junlu is over 70 years old and lives in Jiangbei. Around 8:00 a.m. on July 20, he stepped out of his house and was seized by three men who pulled him into a small van parked outside his home.

15. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xiuqin Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Xiuqin from Changping District was deceived into going to Changping District Court on July 15, 2011 and did not return home that night. The next day her family was informed that she had been sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

16. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Yujuan and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yujuan, Ms. Zhang Yukun, Ms. Zhang Shuwen and Mr. Sunqiang from Wuchang City were arrested at around 11:00 p.m. on July 18 by Changbao Village Police Station personnel. The arrest happened while the practitioners were pasting truth-clarification notices in public areas in Changbao Village.

17. [Puyang, Henan Province] Mr. Wang Chaowei and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Chaowei from Yanggu County was arrested in Puyang, Henan on July 8 and held in the Nanle Detention Center.

18. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Baozhong Arrested and Detained Again

Mr. Zhang Baozhong was arrested on the morning of July 18 at the stall he operates in Jiajucheng, Huadu. He is currently detained in a Xingtai City Brainwashing Class.

Mr. Zhang Baozhong and his wife Ms. Yang Qinghua were previously sentenced to seven years and four years in prison, respectively. Mr. Zhang was only released last October. His father died from years of grief and anxiety shortly after his release.

19. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Chai Fen'e and Other Practitioners Harassed

Around July 14, eight officials from the Yima Town Justice Department and Yima Town Police Station went to harass Ms. Chai Fen'e and her husband Mr. Zhang Delu at their home but did not find the couple there. The officials went to their neighbor's home to inquire about their whereabouts. Later on, they went to visit the head of another village to inquire if practitioners Ms. Ye Fenyun and Ms. Chen Yuping were at home.

20. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Mr. Wu Xishan Arrested

Pingdingshan City Mining Bureau 610 Office agents directed and collaborated with Jiaohua Factory Security Department personnel on July 14 to arrest Mr. Wu Xishan, a retired employee of Jiaohua Factory. His current whereabouts are unknown.

21. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Yunfang Arrested and Taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Yunfang, 63, from Tianfu Town was dragged into a police car on July 15. Wenjiang District 610 Office personnel and officers from the Tianfu Police Station participated. She was then taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

22. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shu Dong'an Abused and Mistreated by Liaoning Women's Prison No. 3 Ward Guards

Ms. Shu Dongan is 57 years old. Heping District Court sentenced her to four years of imprisonment in July 2010 and held her in the No. 3 Ward at Liaoning Women's Prison. She was deprived of sleep, made to stand in a basin of cold water, and was handcuffed behind her back. One of her hands became disabled.

23. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Update on Ms. Wang Jinping Being Persecuted in Liaoning Women's Prison

Ms. Wang Jinping, 40, was sentenced to 10 years in prison. She was detained in the No. 8 Ward in Liaoning Women's Prison in 2004. Since 2005 she has been tortured with sleep deprivation, being shocked with electric batons, drenched with cold water then shocked with an electric baton, by her lower body being sprayed with a pressure hose, and being forced to lie on the concrete floor. She went on a hunger strike to protest and was force-fed and sent into solitary confinement for two weeks.

24. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Junyan Held in the Rizhao City Detention Center

Ms. Wang Junyan is around 47 years old. She was arrested on July 16 while clarifying the facts to someone on a bus. She is currently locked up in the Rizhao City Detention Center.

25. [Liuan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Yongzhen Arrested, Mr. Zhang Yongjing and Ms. Liu Mingxia Missing

Ms. Li Yongzhen was arrested from her home around June 23. Mr. Zhang Yongjing and Liu Mingxia have gone missing.

26. [Panjin, Liaoning Province] Mr. Gao Dong Missing

Mr. Gao Dong, over 40 years old, is an architect working for the Liaohe Oilfield Zhenxing Company. He has been arrested, detained and tortured numerous times for practicing Falun Gong. He was previously paralyzed from the torture and became mentally unstable. He went missing approximately one month after the 2011 Chinese New Year. It was eventually found out that he was arrested and taken to a detention center in Anshan City. His exact whereabouts are still unknown.

27. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wan Maorong Being Monitored Under Orders from the 610 Office

28. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hu Miaomiao Harassed Again After Being Released

On June 26, 2010, Ms. Hu Miaomiao from Huaian County, Zhangjiakou City, was charged after clarifying the facts to someone, and was taken to the Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Family members brought her home on July 11, 2011. Officers from the 610 Office in Zhangjiakou City and Huaian County tried to arrest and transport her to the Yubaodun Brainwashing Center in Zhangjiakou, but family members strongly resisted. The next day County 610 Office head Qian Jinli, accompanied by a dozen people, harassed her at home and threatened her and her father.

29. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Li Arrested by Two Plainclothes Officers the Afternoon of July 11, 2011

30. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Yang Jiedong Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Center; His Wife Still Held

Mr. Yang Jiedong from Wanzai, Zhuhai City was taken to a brainwashing center in early July. His wife Ms. Liu Chunhong is still detained in the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in Guangdong. She sustained injuries as a result of abuse at the brainwashing center.

31. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhao Qiang from Shiqiaopu, Gaoxin District Arrested

Xietaizi Police Station officials arrested Mr. Zhao Qiang at his workplace at the Wujiu Research Institute on the afternoon of July 14. He is now in the Baishiyi Brainwashing Center.

32. [Chongqing] Mr. Yu Guixun Sentenced to Four Years in Prison; Ms. Chen Jixiu Secretly Detained

33. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gong Yanfeng Sentenced to 18 Months of Forced Labor

The morning of June 30, Fengnan 610 Office and Xugezhuang Police Station agents dispatched 20 police officers to surround Ms Gong Yanfeng's home again. Some of them took photos, and four of them grabbed her. She was beaten, kicked, and shocked with electric batons. Ms. Gong and her non-practitioner daughter were then arrested. 610 Office agents took Ms. Gong straight to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp for one and a half years of forced labor. Her daughter has been released.

34. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Chen Kaixiang and Mr. Sha Hong

Officer Pan Junlan from the Da County State Security Division led his team on the afternoon of July 4 to raid Mr. Chen Kaixiang's home in the Dazhou City Silk Reeling Factory dormitory. They took away his Falun Dafa books and brochures, a cell phone, and other belongings and arrested him and his wife Ms. Zhang Naifu. That night they ransacked Mr. Sha Hong's home in the same building. Mr. Sha was taken away and his computer and other belongings were confiscated.

Mr. Chen Kaixiang and Mr. Sha Hong are held in the Dazhou City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Naifu was released that same night.

35. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xu Luying Arrested in June

36. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Xuelian Imprisoned at Jiuzhou Development Zone Women's Prison, Lanzhou

Police officer Bai Cixiang and a dozen other officers from the Guazhou County Police Department broke into the home of Ms. Zhang Xuelian's parents on April 8, 2011. They arrested her in front of her 74-year-old father sent her to the Suzhou District Detention Center, 300 miles away. Jiuquan City Intermediate Court tried her on April 12 and sentenced her to seven years imprisonment. Ms. Zhang was transferred to the Jiuzhou Development Zone Women's Prison in Lanzhou at the end of April.

Mr. Lin Yongle was arrested on June 25 in a village in Luogang Town. His computer and other equipment was confiscated.
