(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 9 provinces. As per this report, 20 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 6 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yin and Mr. Sun Jie Transferred to Changchun City

Ms. Wang Yin lives in the Chainan Residential area, Building No.3, in Jilin City. She was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center in the Xiaoguang No.4 Team Nursing Home in Shahezi. Participating in the arrest were the Chuanying District 610 Office and officers from the Chuanying Police Department, the Huangqi Police Station, and the Huangqi Street Office. Ms. Wang and Mr. Sun Jie were transferred to the Changchun City Law Education Study Center (a brainwashing facility) on September 1, 2011.

2. [Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Yujie Died As a Result of Persecution

Ms. Wang Yujie from Hubei Province was 23 years old when she was subjected to forced labor. Having experienced severe physical abuse and mistreatment at the Hewan Forced Labor Camp and the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center, she died on September 3, 2011.

3. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Guo Wenshuai on a Persecution Protest Hunger Strike

Mr. Guo Wenshuai from Changchun City left home on the afternoon of September 2, 2011, and was arrested by officers from the Jilin Province Domestic Security Division who were staked out near his home. Mr. Guo is currently on a hunger strike in the Changchun No. 3 Detention Center.

5. [Chengde, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Zhihong Subjected to Forced Labor

The family of Ms. Song Zhihong from Chengde City recently learned that Chengde City 610 Office agents had taken Ms. Song to the Hebei Province No.1 Women's Forced Labor Camp on August 20. They went to the labor camp to try to visit her but were turned away.

7. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Jurong Is Under Residential Surveillance

Ms. Hu Jurong lives in Linshanhe Town, Tuanfeng County. She was arrested and taken to the Tuanfeng County Detention Center on August 16. Her blood pressure remained at about 200. She once lost consciousness and was sent to a hospital for treatment. Her son took her home on September 2. She is under police surveillance.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Seventy-one-Year-Old Ms. Wang Xiuyu Again Persecuted

Fangzi District Domestic Security Division officers arrested 71-year-old Ms. Wang Xiuyu on August 1, 2011. They confiscated more than 500 yuan, a tape recorder, an MP3 player, and all Falun Gong books. They released her after taking her fingerprints.

Ms. Wang was arrested again on August 9 and taken to the Guojia Village brigade where she lives. They took photos of her and obtained her fingerprints against her will.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Xueyan Arrested; 610 Office Agents Attempt to Try Her and Refuse to Allow Her Family to Hire Legal Counsel

Ms. Yang Xueyan, 40, runs a fine arts class, teaching students to draw. When she once clarified the truth to her students, one student's parent reported her to the police. Zhonghan Police Station officers in the Laoshan District arrested her on May 13, 2011. She is currently in the Dashan Detention Center. Qingdao 610 Office agents have attempted to put her on trial and will not let her family hire a lawyer to represent her.

Dongchangdian Police Station officers arrested Ms. Zhang Xiaofang on September 3, 2011. She was o her way to clarify the facts about Falun Gong.

11. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Shuhua Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wang Shuhua from Chenxin County is in his 40s. He is a renowned physician in the county. As he opened his clinic on the morning of August 30, 2011, about seven agents from the county 610 Office and the Chenyang Town 610 Office ganged up and arrested him. He was taken to the Huaihua Law Education Center (a brainwashing facility).

12. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Zhijuan Transferred to the Haidian Police Department Detention Center in Houshajian, Beijing

13. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Tangjiayin Arrested Again

About 15 officers from the Xiao'anshan Police Station and Xiao'an Town, led by Gao Liuhui and police office head Kong, climbed over a wall, entered Mr. Tangjiayin's home, and arrested him on the morning of September 1, 2011.

They have harassed Mr. Tang repeatedly since he was released from a one-year detention last year. They attempted to send him to a brainwashing center. Mr. Tang decided to leave home to find a job. He was arrested as soon as he returned home this time.

14. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Eight Practitioners from Luquan County Arrested

Eight practitioners were arrested in May 2011 as they studied the Fa and did the exercises together in someone's home. Officers from the Luquan County Domestic Security Division made the arrests. The practitioners were held in the Luquan County Detention Center. Although they were released following a one-month detention, six of the practitioners were charged with "disturbing the social order." Domestic Security Division head Zeng Xuede advised his superiors to give two other practitioners, sisters Ms. Yang Hu and Ms. Yang Lu, each a forced labor term.

15. [Kunming, Yunnan Province] Ms. He Li on a Persecution Protest Hunger Strike in a Detention Center

Ms. He Li, 47, is from Qidian Township, Chenggong County. She was arrested on May 19, 2011, as she distributed information about Falun Gong and the persecution in Shuitang Village, Qidian Township. Her home was ransacked. She has been held in the Chenggong County Detention Center for four and a half months. Ms. He started a hunger strike on August 23, to protest the detention and brainwashing. She is weak, and her mental condition is very bad.

16. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Hongying Taken into Custody

Ms. Chen Hongying from Zhuma Village, Gaoli Town, was arrested recently as she spoke with people about Falun Gong at a market in the Shuangyang District. Officers from the Shuangyang Police Station made the arrest. Ms. Chen is currently in the Weifang Detention Center.

17. [Cangxi, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Zongfang Arrested

610 Office agent Li Rong, State security officer Zhang Rong, and two others broke into Ms. Yan Zongfang's home, ransacked it, and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials, two Shen Yun performance DVDs, two truth clarification DVDs, an MP3 player, a laptop computer, and a telephone address book.
