(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yin from Jilin City was arrested at her home by officials from the Chuanying District 610 Office, Chuanying District Police Department, Huangqi Police Station, and Huangqi Street Neighborhood Committee on the afternoon of August 24, 2011. She was first taken to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center in Jilin City, then transferred along with another practitioner, Sun Jie, to the Xinglongshan Brainwashing Center in Changchun City on September 1.

Ms. Wang’s parents, who are in their 80s, are suing the Chuanying District 610 Office head, Yang Bingwen, for breaking and entering, illegal detention, and physical abuse. They are demanding that the local procuratorate and relevant authorities place the case on file and begin an immediate investigation.

Yang Bingwen and more than 10 officials showed up at Ms. Wang’s house, located at Building No. 3 of Chainan Community, around 8:00 a.m. on August 24. Ms. Wang refused to open the door and told them the facts about Falun Gong through the window. However, Yang and the other officials broke in the door and attempted to forcibly take her away.

Ms. Wang’s parents took a taxi to her house when they learned of the situation. Her husband, aunt, and brother-in-law came later. They all condemned the police for breaking into the house and arresting her.

Yang then inveigled Ms. Wang’s husband and aunt into going to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center, while he ordered the police to take Ms. Wang by force to the police car since only her parents and brother-in-law were there and were unable to stop the police from arresting her. At that time, Ms. Wang was wearing only light clothes. She wasn’t allowed to even put on her socks and shoes, but was directly taken to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center. The police also took her personal desktop computer.

Over the past 10 days, Ms. Wang’s husband has asked repeatedly to visit his wife. However, Yang has not only denied his requests, but also ordered plainclothes police to severely beat and kick him, causing his arms to bleed.

Ms. Wang’s parents have brought charges against Yang and the other agents involved. In the indictment, they demanded that the local procuratorate place Yang’s crime on file and that Yang’s crime be investigated and punished. They also asked the Jilin City Police Department to immediately and unconditionally release their daughter, compensate her for the extreme harm done her body and mind, and make a public apology for their evil deeds.
