(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Geng Ruizhi, from the Linhe District, Bayan Nur, Inner Mongolia, was sentenced to four years in prison by a local court. She was taken to the Inner Mongolia No. 1 Women's Prison at the end of August.
On February 25, 2011, officers from the Bayan Nur Domestic Security Team and the Linhe District Domestic Security Team arrested Ms. Geng at her home. Ms. Geng's 24-year-old daughter, who does not practice Falun Gong, objected to the police taking her mother away. The police proceeded to arrest both of them. During the daughter's week-long detention, she was threatened by the guards.
Ms. Geng is being held at the Linhe Detention Center. Officers Yu Zhanhai and He Cai from the Linhe District Domestic Security Team interrogated and tortured her while she was in custody. They tied her to a customized metal chair and deprived her of sleep for six days; in addition, He Cai severely beat Ms. Geng. As a result, the joints in Ms. Geng's wrists were seriously damaged, and her health deteriorated.
