(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Weisheng from the Shunyi District, Beijing was arrested on the evening of April 26, 2011. He was first held in the Nihe Detention Center in the Shunyi District, and then transferred to the No. 7 Section of the Beijing Police Department in the Chaoyang District, and finally transferred back to the Nihe Detention Center in August. Shunyi Domestic Security Division officers and 610 Office agents collaborated with the Procuratorate in an attempt to have the court officials sentence Mr. Liang to imprisonment.
Mr. Liang Weisheng, 65 years old, lives in the Cangshang Residential Area in the Shunyi District. Around 8:00 p.m. on April 26, 2011, Mr. Liang's downstairs neighbor deceived him into opening the door by claiming to have come to borrow something. As soon as the door was opened, about 20 people from the Beijing Domestic Security Division, the Shunyi District Domestic Security Division, the Renhe Police Station, and the Cangshang Residential Area Neighborhood Committee rushed in. They ransacked Mr. Liang's home until dawn, and took his computer, printer, Falun Gong books and informational materials and other personal belongings. On the morning of April 27, the police took Mr. Liang and his wife Ms. Meng to the Nihe Detention Center. Ms. Meng was later released because she became ill.
It has been nearly five months since Mr. Liang was arrested. The domestic security division officers have forbidden his family to visit him.
