(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. Prior to that, I suffered from a myriad of diseases. Every day I was tormented by pain. Shortly after I started practicing Falun Gong, all my illnesses disappeared without any medical treatment. I finally felt what it was like to be illness-free.

I am nearly 60 years old. I used to be the factory manager of a state-run corporation. I had won the honor of being named the provincial model employee and the progressive employee for many years. Fettered by attachments to fame and wealth, I was very lost in life. It was very tiresome. The burdens of work and sickness prompted me to submit a request to resign, but it was denied.

Later on many state-run businesses in my area went under. I wanted to take the opportunity to resign and retire so that I could focus on practicing Falun Gong. Yet groups after groups of factory workers came to me and begged me to stay. They were mostly in their 40s and lacked special technical skills. Some even suffered from physical disabilities. If the factory should close down, they would have difficulty finding another job and surviving financially. They begged me in tears, "We have worked together for so many years. We know your character very well. You are not as selfish as other people because you practice Falun Gong. We trust you to run the factory. If you quit and close the factory, how will we make a living at our age?"

I knew I had won their approval because I tried to conduct myself according to Falun Gong's teachings. To these factory workers, I was representational of a typical Falun Gong practitioner.

Meanwhile, my boss encouraged me to keep running the factory and promised many preferable policies and favorable conditions as incentives. Since I had been feeling great since practicing Falun Gong and all the conditions were favorable, I decided I must use my work environment to cultivate myself at work while offering Teacher's salvation to my work colleagues and business liaisons. After a restructuring, I remained as the factory manager.

Due to the economy, the banks started to put more restrictions on loans. Money became tight. It put a strain on the survival and development of businesses. I had to get personal loans to keep the cash flow for the factory. In today's China, people no longer trust one another. Yet it was not a problem for me. As soon as I asked, many people would agree to lend me money and even delivered tens of thousands or even half a million yuan to me in person. They did not even ask for an I.O.U. or want me to sign a loan agreement. I knew they trusted me because I practice Falun Gong. With that in mind, I had to become an even better person and not tarnish the good name of Falun Gong.

Most of my clients have been with us for several decades. They approve of my character. These days many of my competitors have had to suspend or close down their factories because they did not get new or enough orders to sustain their businesses. But my clients would call me or come in person to place orders. They have high praise for my factory. Because of our good business relationships, I am able to share the truth about Falun Gong with them. One of them commented, "Falun Gong is so wonderful. In the past when people attempted to talk about Falun Gong, I would avoid them or refuse to listen. I was afraid of becoming insane like the media portrayed. Now that I know you practice Falun Gong, I believe Falun Gong must be good. You are such a kind person!"

I often get in touch with cadres because of my work. They often asked me for my secret in running a successful business. "What makes you able to sustain the business? It is prosperous. When we come here, we feel the work environment is like a land of purity. We are more than willing to support a business like this. Because of the economy, many factories had to close down, but you have a full plate of orders. You provide hundreds of job opportunities. I feel I am doing a good thing by supporting your business."

There are many such positive examples. Some clients and cadres, after learning the truth about Falun Gong and about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), decided to quit the CCP and/or its two student organizations they were once a member of. They even asked for a copy of Zhuan Falun. The majority of the factory workers know the truth about Falun Gong and about the CCP and have quit the CCP youth organizations they once belonged to. In the first few years after the CCP started to suppress Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, the factory workers volunteered to safely keep Falun Gong practitioners' collections of Falun Gong books and protect them. They often read materials containing important facts about Falun Gong. Some have read Falun Gong books. Some factory workers used to curse a lot. Once they learned the teachings of Falun Gong, they stopped cursing and began to conduct themselves according to the teachings of Falun Gong. Many workers have benefited from Falun Gong because they believe it is good. Many workers who left for other job opportunities returned because they found this factory to be the purest work environment they had ever worked in.

I know Teacher has made it happen because He saw in my heart that I wanted to save people. It was also made possible because of the cooperation of all the practitioners working in the factory. I am not diligent enough in my cultivation and do not study the Fa enough. I have yet many attachments to eliminate. I have not clarified the truth enough. From now on I must listen to Teacher and study the Fa more, cultivate myself better, and save more people so that I won't leave too much regret. I must catch up with Teacher's Fa-rectification and return to my true home with Teacher.
