(Clearwisdom.net) This morning, I went to the market to clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. In passing, I also had my breakfast there. In order to use more currency bills with truth-clarification messages printed on them, I bought some noodles from one booth and bought a fried cruller another. The owner of the fried cruller booth handed me a small piece of paper as usual for me to hold the cruller as I ate. I asked for a clean plastic bag instead. He didn't seem to understand what I was asking for, as he didn't respond. I asked again for a plastic bag. He said, “Are you carrying out? Not eating here?” I raised my voice impatiently, “I am eating here, but I need to put the fried crullers on the table. I have asked for the bag several times now. What's wrong with your ears?” He finally understood and put them in a plastic bag for me.
After I sat down, I felt that my attitude was not up to Dafa's standards. Additionally, with this attitude, how could I clarify the truth to people and talk to them about quitting the CCP? With my current attitude, how could I earn others' trust?
Master said, “If you've fallen don't just lie there, get up right away!” (“Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference”) After I finished my breakfast, I went up to the owner of the booth and smiled at him, “I apologize for raising my voice to you just now and for being harsh and impolite.” He smiled and said, “No problem at all. Don't even mention it!” I replied, “I am a Dafa practitioner and I follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I did not do well just now, so I am sincerely apologizing to you.” His wife aside smiled happily and said repeatedly, “No problem, no problem.”
As I came closer, I saw that the couple working there was very kind, so I started telling them about Dafa and persuaded them to quit the CCP. Both of them, as well as their two children, quit the Young Pioneers. In the meantime, I also persuaded the couple who'd sold me noodles to renounce their affiliation to the CCP.
I'm sharing my experiences here to remind fellow practitioners that while we do the three things and interact with everyday people, we need to constantly upgrade our xinxing in order to not damage the image of Dafa disciples. If we do something wrong, we should immediately take corrective action and use every opportunity to save sentient beings.
