Solemn Declaration
I started practicing Falun Gong in November 1996. I was illegally arrested and held in a detention center after going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2001. Due to my attachments to fear and comfort, I couldn't endure the brutal, inhuman torture. I lost my righteous thoughts and reluctantly wrote the three statements. I handed in Dafa books and made some disrespectful remarks about Master and Dafa. I betrayed fellow practitioners and caused damage to Dafa. I solemnly declare, “The three statements and other documents I signed, along with all negative and undermining things I did against fellow practitioners, Master, and Dafa, are null and void. I will completely negate the old forces arrangements. I will cherish the cultivation opportunity given by Master, do the three things well, work harder to make up for the harm I caused to Dafa, and carry out my prehistoric vow.”

Solemn Declaration
The local sub-district office ordered me to report to a brainwashing center on May 3, 2012. I agreed because of my weak righteous thoughts and my attachment of fear. In the center, the wicked Chinese Communist Party (CCP) personnel forcibly imposed on me the viciously distorted principles, and threatened to have my son and granddaughter fired from their jobs. I yielded to the evil pressure due to my attachment to family sentimentality and handed in some Dafa books. I signed the guarantee statement, promising to give up practicing Falun Gong. I made some disrespectful remarks about Master and revealed names of some fellow practitioners who live in my residential area. This happened because I hadn't studied the Fa well. I emphasized doing things only superficially and wasn't cultivating my mind diligently. Another reason is that I had too many human notions, including attachments of fear and family sentimentality.
I solemnly declare, “Everything I have said and done that was disrespectful of Master, as well as the guarantee statement I wrote, are null and void. I will make up for the damage I caused to Dafa and firmly resume my cultivation to the end.”
