Investigation Evidence: Shandong Second Provincial Hospital Involved in Harvesting Organs from Falun Gong Practitioners

Nov. 9, 2012 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) A relative of mine developed kidney disease two years ago. She tried many hospitals but none of them could cure her. Her doctors determined that she needed a kidney transplant. But most hospitals couldn't find a matching kidney because of her unique blood type. She eventually went to the Shandong Second Provincial Hospital and received a kidney transplant, which cost her 300,000 yuan.

I heard about this, but I was unable to get in touch with her because she lived far away.

I finally met with this relative in September 2012. As soon as I mentioned “kidney transplant,” she said that she knew why I was asking her about it. She said, “I do know about kidney transplants, especially the sources of such organs. They all came from you Falun Gong practitioners. I wasn't the only one. Others in the same hospital room with me needed various organs, but no matter what they needed, the organs were readily available. That's what I heard from conversations between the doctors and nurses.”

When I heard this, I began to cry. I asked her, “Would you be willing to testify to investigators in the future?” Her expression suddenly changed, and she looked terrified. She said, “How could I dare to tell the truth when the persecution of Falun Gong is so bad? You are the only one I told about this. I didn't even dare to tell my family.”
