Approximately 40 Falun Gong Practitioners from Shenzhou Arrested

(Minghui.org) Approximately 40 Falun Gong practitioners from Shenzhou, Hebei Province, were arrested by police from Hengshui and Shenzhou on October 28-30, 2012, prior to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Eighteenth Congress Conference. Most are still being held in detention centers or brainwashing centers. Only a few have been released.

According to insiders, about 500 armed police and special police from Hengshui participated in this action. Specifically, on October 28, 2012, from late night to dawn, the police were very busy making arrests.

Those arrested on the night of October 28, 2012 include Zhang Yun, Zhang Zhimei, Song Xianying, Sun Li and her daughter, Hui Lai, Xiao Qin, Sun Xiaoqiao, Zhang Ruifeng, Liu Landuo, Liu Xiaowen, Li Lanzhu, Lao Zhao, Sun Yanqiao, Wang Hua, Wang Feng, Xiao Ying, Xu Yanxiang, and Zhang Jiao.

On October 28 at 11:00 p.m, officers from the Shenzhou Police Department went to Beixingyuan Village and seized Ms. Hao Chunlan, with assistance from Zheng Xiaohe, a local villager. Ms. Hao was first taken to the police department and then transferred to the detention center. The police confiscated her cell phone and computer.

Mr. He Shuwei lives in Ximazhang Village, Mucun Township, Shenzhou. He was taken away by police at around midnight on October 28, 2012. His wife cannot get along without someone to care for her.

On October 29 at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Shenzhou Police Department, carrying electric batons, jumped over the yard wall, and entered the home of Ms. Liu Landuo in Chanyuan Village. Ms. Liu was arrested. The police also took a laptop computer, a satellite receiver, and other electronics. Qing Fen from the same village was also arrested that night. The practitioners were taken to the local town police station. Ms. Liu managed to escape with righteous thoughts when the police, working on night shift, fell asleep. Ms. Liu and her husband don't dare to return home and have become homeless.

On the night of October 28, Liu Baoshuan, a village officer in Nanwangzhuang Village, Shenzhou, led approximately eight police officers to Ms. Sun Yanqiao's home. Two of the officers were carrying electric batons. Ms. Sun was arrested.

Ms. Zhang Yun's oldest daughter, who does not practice Falun Gong, was also arrested. 2000 yuan in cash in one of the drawers in her home disappeared during the arrest. Ms. Zhang's third daughter, Yang Ranli, has been homeless for many years. She was arrested in Jinzhou, Hebei Province, on October 30, 2012. She is being detained in the Hengshui Detention Center.

Party Secretary Pan Shaoyin, and Yang Zengyi, who is chief of the Shenzhou Town Police Station, led armed police and special police from Hengshui to arrest Hui Lai from Zhongwangxinzhuang, Shenzhou City.

Ms. Sun Yanfang from Gaozhaoquan Village, Taiguzhuang Township, was arrested on October 29. The police took away about 30 Falun Dafa books, 50 DVDs, and a satellite receiver.

Many Falun Dafa practitioners from Datun Township, Wangjiajing Town, Shenzhen City, were harassed on October 29, 2012.

On October 30, most all of the practitioners in Dafengying Township, Shenzhou City, were harassed. Liu Xihe, Party secretary of Dongli Village, Dafengying, along with township government personnel, confiscated all of the satellite receivers from practitioners. Li Xiaoqi from Xin Village, Shenzhou, was arrested on the night of October 31.

Those who were arrested on October 31 also include Zhao Qinggen from Shenzhou, Da Juan and Chun Sheng from Tangfeng Township, and Xiao Zhuan from Shuangjing Township.

The police took satellite receivers from the homes of Zhang Qunkao from Qingying Village, and Ying Dong from Huanglong Village.

The local village officers took satellite receivers from the homes of practitioners in Dechao Village and Runjia Village, Chenshi Township, Shenzhou.

Dong Wenguang, chief of Xi'anzhuang Village, along with eight police officers, jumped into the yard of Ms. Dong Jianying in Xi'anzhuang Village in the middle of the night on November 27, 2012. The police took Ms. Dong and her husband to the Fifth Criminal Police Team of Shenzhou City. They also ransacked Ms. Dong's home and took a TV, a satellite receiver, a computer, two pictures of Master Li, and Falun Gong materials.

Mr. Zhang Ruifeng, his wife Xu Yanxiang, and his daughter Zhang Jiao, were held in the detention center. Ms. Xu was released because her blood pressure climbed to more than 200 after being detained for several days. The Shenzhou Police Station dispatched three men to stay in Ms. Xu's home and monitor her around the clock.

Those who are still being detained include Mr. Hao Zongkun, Ms. Zhang Yun and her daughter, Ms. Song Xianying, Ms. Sun Li and her daughter, Ms. Zhang Zhimei, Ms. Xun Xiaoqiao, Mr. He Shuwei, Hui Lai, Ms. Dong Jianying and her husband, Ms. Xu Yanxiang, Ms. Zhang Jiao, Mr. Zhang Ruifeng, Fen Ting, Ms. Xiu Juan and her sister, Ms. Qing Fen, Ms. Lan Di, Ms. Zhao Shuqin, Ms. Li Jing, Ms. Li Yufeng, and Ms. Hei Niu.

During the past month, most practitioners have been held in the detention centers and brainwashing centers. The CCP is still persecuting other practitioners. Practitioners are being watched and followed. Details are difficult to obtain because of limited sources and restricted information.
