(Clearwisdom.net) The recent news about Wang Lijun, former head of Chongqing Police Department and Jinzhou City Police Department, once again bears out the cosmic principle of evil being met with bad returns. Although Wang was very arrogant during the time he was being used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), he is now coming to a shameful end.

I’m writing down the following account to expose one of Wang Lijun's high crimes towards Falun Gong practitioners in 2002. At that time, Wang was the head of Tieling City Police Department. In order to be promoted, he actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and committed many serious crimes.

That year some practitioners interviewed those practitioners who had been severely tortured. They videotaped the interviews, burned them onto discs and planned to send them abroad to expose the CCP’s evil deeds. However, Yinzhou District Criminal Police Group in Tieling City learned of their plans. Directed by Wang Lijun, officers from Yinzhou District Criminal Police Group spied on and monitored these practitioners through various means, such as monitoring their phone calls.

In October 2002, they illegally arrested more than 10 practitioners, including Ms. Yi Liping, Mr. Wang Hongshu, Mr. Zhang Bo and Mr. Zhang Weiji. They also took the practitioners’ relatives into custody, as well as others who were in the practitioners’ call records. At least 4 practitioners’ houses were ransacked. Fifteen discs containing the recorded interviews were confiscated. These interviews contained firsthand accounts of the harsh persecution, such as practitioners being tortured into disability while they were detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, the Longshan Forced Labor Camp, the Fushun Forced Labor Camp, the Shenxin Forced Labor Camp and the Dalian Detention Center.

In order to create "evidence," officers of the Criminal Police Group severely tortured the detained practitioners. They beat practitioners with rubber tubes and tortured them with the “big hang up,” threatening to sentence practitioners to life imprisonment. The practitioners were tortured relentlessly, both day and night. Even at midnight, the sounds of practitioners being beaten and their screams could be heard.

Three practitioners, including Mr. Wang Jie, were hung up for 2 days. The entire weight of their bodies was borne by their wrists and arms, and it was extremely painful. The severe torture caused Mr. Wang Jie to lose all feeling in his thumbs for 6 months. He also couldn’t lift his right arm for 8 years afterward.

During this time, Wang Lijun visited the Criminal Police Group. After Wang’s visit, the group's head hooted loudly in front of practitioners: “Our boss has come to see us. He said that this is a major case and that whoever participates will be given full marks. We’ll be rewarded with a bonus!” Wang's visit caused the officers to become excited and to step up the intensity of the persecution.

In the end, the practitioners were sentenced to 7 to 8 years of imprisonment and forced labor. They were subjected to long-term detention and torture, causing serious injury to both their bodies and minds.
