(Clearwisdom.net) Due to not giving up their belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, and for refusing to do hard labor, Falun Gong practitioners from Jinshi, Hunan Province, have been cruelly tortured. Mr. Lv Songming, a history teacher from Xiangtan Motor Factory, suffered a heart attack when guards and inmates hit his head against the wall. As a result of the relentless torture, he has just six teeth left.

Since May 2011, officers from Jingshi Prison have been stepping up their efforts to "transform" practitioners using brutal force. Approximately 20 practitioners have been subjected to this cruelty and forced to do intensive hard labor by working more than 10 hours a day everyday. Guards instigated an inmate to stuff his sleeve into Mr. Lv's mouth and bend his arms behind his head. Then two inmates dragged him running with his face down on the floor. Mr. Lv's teeth were loosened and fell out one at a time. Five months later, most of his teeth had fallen out, leaving only six teeth left.

Because Mr. Lv refused to report to the guards, they told other inmates to pull his hair and hit him against the wall. As a result, he could not stand up straight, his head was injured, and he developed arrhythmia. There were many times his life was endangered. Even the collaborators who were watching him said, “We can't torture him anymore, or he will be dead soon.”

In late 2011, not until Mr. Lv was at the brink of death, did prison officials allow his family to visit him. When his family saw he’d had a heart attack and that most of his teeth were gone, they were furious. They reported this to the authorities and demanded compensation for him and that those responsible be brought to justice.

As a matter of fact, the torture that Mr. Lv has endured over the years is far worse than what has been mentioned so far. Mr. Lv was a history teacher from Xiangtan Motor Factory Middle School. In 2001, when he was in his early 30s, he was illegally arrested and sentenced to five years in prison by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). In 2007, he was arrested and sentenced to another five years of incarceration. He was held in Chishan Prison in Yuanjiang City, Yiyang; in Jingshi Prison in Changde; and in Wuling Prison in Changde City. The guards and inmates tortured him by cruelly beating him and force-feeding him feces. His life has been in danger many times.

On February 3, 2012, Mr. Lv was finally released and returned home badly injured.
