(Minghui.org) On March 20, 2012, Mr. Wang Yulin's home, located in the Batian Village, Jinniu Town, Binchuan County, was ransacked by police officers from the Binchuan County Police Department. He is still being held at the Binchuan County Detention Center.
At 10:00 a.m., Mr. Wang's mother Ms. Zhang Juying was alone at home. Two vehicles arrived and about six police officers entered the house, some in uniform and others in plain clothes. Mr. Wang's brother, Mr. Wang Leiwen, and his wife were working in the field and received phone calls from Ms. Zhang, who talked fast and seemed to be very worried. Over the phone, she urged them to return immediately. The police officers threatened her that she was not to say that they were at her home.
Mr. Wang Leiwen and his wife came and found four police officers sitting in the living room and one checking the computer. Police officers found Zhuan Falun when they searched from the bedroom to the living room, and then asked the mother to open the doors to other rooms. Mr. Wang Leiwen immediately stopped them and pointed out that what they were doing was illegal. The police officers took out a search warrant and ordered him to sign it, and then they took away the search warrant. They proceeded to ransack the home. They confiscated two of Master's photos, Falun Dafa amulets, copies of Minghui Weekly and other personal belongings. They did not give a list of items confiscated. Personnel involved in the ransacking include Yang Yu, chief of the Domestic Security Division of the Binchuan County Police Department, and Xiang Yongxiang, former chief of the Political and Security Division of the Binchuan County Police Department.
The group of police finished ransacking the brother's home and then went to Mr. Wang Yulin's home located in the same village. At that time, Mr. Wang Yulin and his wife Ms. He Jiafeng were both at home. From the yard, police told Mr. Wang to open the door. Neither of them would open the door, and the police officers then broke the door and entered. They confiscated Master Li's photo, a copy of Zhuan Falun, two computers, one printer, a box of A4 size paper, blank DVDs, a DVD of the 2012 Shen Yun performance, and approximately 400 discs. They did not leave any documents after they confiscated these items. They put Mr. Wang Yulin and Ms. He Jiafeng in their vehicle, then they went to Mr. Wang Leiwen's home and put the mother in their vehicle. They took the practitioners to the Domestic Security Division of the Binchuan County Police Department. They told Mr. Wang Leiwen to drive his own vehicle there.
At that time, it was already 3:00 p.m., and the police officers separated the four people and interrogated them separately. Xiang Yongxiang was the police officer who interrogated Mr. Wang Leiwen. He asked Mr. Wang what he thought of Falun Gong. Mr. Wang replied, "It's good." Then Xiang asked Mr. Wang whether he believed in Falun Gong, and he replied "Yes." Xiang also asked him who his elder brother Mr. Wang Yulin contacted and whether he knew that his brother was producing informational materials about Falun Dafa. After the interrogation was finished, Xiang asked for Mr. Wang's signature. After they finished the mother's interrogation, he asked the mother what the police asked her. She said that police officers asked where the amulets and the other materials were from. The questions were the same when they asked Ms. He Jiafeng. It was 10:00 p.m. when they arrived home, but Mr .Wang Yulin was not able to go home. When they were leaving, Yang Yu told Mr. Wang Leiwen not to contact Falun Gong practitioners and not to discuss the ransacking and arrest of his brother to anyone. Otherwise, it would not be good for him. Xiang also said that Mr. Wang would be sentenced to prison.
The next morning, Mr. Wang Leiwen went to the Domestic Security Division to ask Yang Yu where his brother was and why he had not been released. Yang said that after they left last night, Mr. Wang was taken to the Binchuan County Detention Center.
According to what Mr. Wang's family said, Mr. Wang's father was highly respected in the village. After Mr. Wang Yulin graduated from high school, he started working in the field with his father. When his father suffered a stroke and no medication would help, the father took Chinese medicine which was quite expensive yet ineffective. That is when someone introduced Falun Gong to him. At first, he could not remember the exercises well, so Mr. Wang tried to help him learn them. Mr. Wang was fortunate to have read Zhuan Falun, and felt that it was what he had been looking for, and he has been practicing since then.
After the father began to practice Falun Gong, he recovered very quickly. Within two weeks, his symptoms disappeared and he regained his strength. He could lift bags of fertilizer that weighed over 110 lbs. over his shoulder and did not feel tired when he went to the mountains or to the field. The message soon spread, and within a short period of time, an increasing number of people came to study Falun Gong, There were around 50 people in the village who began practicing, and there were some from other villages also. At the senior citizens' festival, the father was invited to go on stage to do a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises and encouraged everyone to learn.
The mother, Ms. Zhang Juying, witnessed the change in her husband, so she also started practicing Falun Gong and followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Soon after that, her sinusitis disappeared and her health improved. Later, Mr. Wang Yulin's wife, Ms. He Jiafeng, also started practicing. The relationship between the in-laws was very good and the brothers also got along well. The people in the village admired the family.
Since July 1999, however, Jiang's regime started the persecution against Falun Gong. Before the Chinese New Year in 2001, Xiang Yongxiang, who at that time was the chief of the Political and Security Division of the Binchuan County Police Department, led police officers to Mr. Wang Yulin's home and ransacked it. They arrested him and took him to the detention center, where he was held for fifteen days. After that, he was taken to a brainwashing center for a month. He suffered greatly, both spiritually and physically.
