(Minghui.org) I started to practice Falun Gong in 1998, and have been cultivating for 13 years. My genuine faith in Master and Dafa, along with Master’s protection, help me to walk the cultivation path smoothly and solidly. I used to suffer from numerous illnesses, but Master gave me a new life. He has saved me and guided me to change from the “human condition” to a divine being.
Dafa demonstrates miracles in my life
As I just finished a work break one summer day in 2000, a thermostat full of hot water exploded as I picked it up. I jumped up as the hot water and broken pieces of glass spattered all over my feet. At that moment, however, I remembered what Master said, “We have said that good or evil comes from a person’s spontaneous thought.” (Zhuan Falun) I began to tell myself, “I’m fine. I’m fine.” About ten minutes later, my feet were fine, and the skin was not even red. Both my husband and son witnessed the miracle.
Before practicing Falun Gong, I had heart disease, kidney disease, anemia, low blood pressure, and rheumatism. One month after I began to do the exercises and study the Fa, all of the diseases were gone. After July 20, 1999 the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong. My family never opposed my cultivation in Dafa, but only reminded me that I should be careful.
My husband also benefits from Dafa because he supports me. He teaches in an art school. On his way to work one day in March 2006, he suddenly had a stroke and passed out. He was taken to a hospital; the surgery lasted for six to seven hours, but he was still unconscious afterward. Doctors issued us a critical condition notice; nonetheless, I firmly believed that Dafa could save him. Because he had a predestined relationship with Dafa, I believed that he would come out of the tribulation and be fine. Therefore, I silently repeated, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I also asked Master to help him. When my husband woke up the next day, I told him to say “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” by himself. He nodded. About 20 hours later, he was miraculously able to move his previously paralyzed body. Even the medical personnel in the hospital found it hard to believe. With full confidence, my husband continued repeating the phrases. I also read Zhuan Falun to him. The doctors eventually stopped the IV because his condition improved 28 days after the surgery.
Doctors, patients, our relatives and friends all believed that my husband’s recovery was a miracle. He was discharged in 34 days. When he was at the hospital, I took the opportunity to clarify the truth to the patients and their families. Many of them recovered quickly and were discharged after they learned the truth. After my husband came home, we read Zhuan Falun together every afternoon. He focused on the Fa-study because he could not move well for the exercises after the surgery.
One day when I was 60 years old, I stood on a 2-meter high ladder to clean a window. For some reason, I lost my balance and fell, and my back hit the edge of the sink. It felt as if all of my organs had been turned upside down. Although I was miserable, my mind was stable and I was not afraid at all. My first thought was that Master tells us nothing is by chance. I knew I had left the old forces some loopholes, which had caused the accident to happen. About ten minutes later, I was able to get up safe and sound.
Purifying my mind, helping to save sentient beings
I began to clarify the truth to people face-to-face and help them quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. With Master’s help, I have clarified the truth and helped over ten thousand people to quit the Party. Clarifying the truth has widened the road that I walk on, and because of that, life has become easier now. It seems like a mechanism has been established in me such that I don't feel right if I miss a day going out to clarify the truth to people.
In the fall of 2008, I started going to a farmers' market to clarify the facts to people. I overheard a conversation between two old ladies. One of them was crying because her husband had been hospitalized and was still not cured even after they had spent over 10,000 yuan. Now she had to bring her husband home because they had run out of money. The doctor had told them that her husband’s days were numbered, so they should give him something good to eat and prepare for the worst. Her husband, however, was emaciated and could not eat anything. That lady was so worried that she could not help him and cried the entire time. After witnessing that, I went up to them and said, “Don’t cry. Our Master can save your husband, and you don’t even need to spend a penny.” I began to clarify the truth to her and also gave her some materials that contained information about Falun Gong. I told her to sincerely repeat “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” after she went home. I also asked her to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party for her husband. After listening to me attentively, she took the materials and went home.
About a month later, I went back to that market. Someone called out to me from behind, so I turned around and saw the old lady again. Holding my hand, she told me, “Thank you so much. My husband is all cured now. After I got home the other day, I told my husband to quickly begin saying ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ I also told him to quit the Party, and he agreed to. From that evening on, he was able to drink water; the next morning, he had a bowl of porridge. After that, he continued saying to himself, ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ He also repeatedly read the materials you gave us. Right now, he is able to help me do some household chores.” I told her, “Don’t thank me, please thank our Master. It is our Master who has saved your husband. Please tell your family and friends, and let everyone know the truth about Falun Gong so that they will suffer fewer miseries and illnesses.” Nodding, she replied, “I’ve already done that. Many people have learned from me that Falun Gong is miraculous.”
When I went out to clarify the truth to people in the summer of 2008, I saw two older men chatting. I greeted them and told them to say “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and I also gave them my last brochure. They accepted the brochure happily. When I was about to tell them to withdraw from the Party, a young couple came up, and the young man snatched away the brochure from one of the old man’s hands and yelled at me, “Did you give them this brochure?” I replied, “Yes.” He continued, “I’m a police officer.” I smiled and said, “Young man, I gave them the brochure because it’s good for them.” The young man immediately called the local police department and asked them to dispatch a police vehicle because he had “caught a Falun Gong.” While calling, he grabbed my hand tightly and would not let go.
A few minutes later, two police officers arrived. The young man told them, “I’m off today. I’ll give her to you guys.” He then left. The two officers told me to get into the police vehicle. I went along and at the same time, I continuously sent forth right thoughts to eliminate all the evil factors behind the officers. When I got to the police station, I sent forth very strong thoughts to eliminate all of the evil demons and Chinese Communist Party spirits that dwelled in the surrounding areas in all dimensions. At the same time, I also asked Master to help strengthen my righteous thoughts in order to offer salvation to those people. Officer Liu asked me, “What’s your name? Where do you work?” I did not reply. At that moment (as if Master had arranged it), the head of the police department poured himself a glass of hot water and was about to take a handful of pills.
Immediately I had found an opening to chat with him and asked, “Are you sick? Why does such a young man like you need to take so many pills? He said, “Heart problem, diabetes, and many other illnesses. I have so many problems.” I told him, “Let me tell you the words that can help you get rid of your diseases: 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'” He said, “I just arrested three Falun Gong practitioners a few days ago and have locked them up in a detention center. Aren’t you afraid that I will lock you up, too?” After hearing that, I felt even more sorry for him and my compassion for him also grew.
Quickly I said, “I should tell you more about Falun Gong. Please don’t persecute Falun Gong practitioners! Those who persecute Falun Gong will be punished by Heaven. Falun Gong has spread to over 100 countries all over the world, and people are free to practice it everywhere but China. Why is that? Up 'till now, millions of people have quit the Party's affiliated organizations.”
Before I noticed, I had talked for two hours. The evil forces behind the police officers had been totally eliminated. The head police officer waved his hand for me to stop talking and said that I should go home. Shortly after I left, I went back and reminded them, “You must learn more about the truth of Falun Gong, and read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Understand the truth and withdraw from the Party. You must tell everyone in your department to treat Falun Gong practitioners nicely.” They smiled, and I walked out with a smile, too.
Now I am walking even more solidly on the divine path arranged by Master. With Master’s boundlessly powerful protection, I have helped offer salvation to many sentient beings. I fully use my supernormal abilities to form a strong unity with fellow practitioners and to disintegrate the evil forces behind sentient beings. Merciful and great Master, your disciple misses you!
