Ms. Yang and Her Sister from Chengdu City Arrested Again, Fuqinglu Police Station Responsible

May 1, 2012 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Sichuan Province, China

(Minghui.org) On March 13, officials from the Fuqinglu Police Station and the Fuqinglu Community Management Committee arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Shuhua. Two weeks later, her sister, Ms. Yang Shujun, went to the Fuqinglu Police Station to clarify the facts, hoping to take her sister home. The residency management officer from the Huayoulu Police Station called a few officers over and ended up taking her to the Jingtang Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Yang Shujun's child, who goes to primary school, was left at home alone. The sisters need to cover the rent for their homes, and there are other living expenses and expenses for the child's schooling that they need to pay.

On the afternoon of March 13, 2012, when Ms. Yang Shujun from Chengdu City came home, she saw that her home had been searched and was left in a big mess. In addition, she was missing a computer, a printer, over 4,000 yuan in cash, and notebooks that she had recently bought for her child. Her sister was missing as well.

Her neighbor said that at around 2 p.m. about a dozen officers, plainclothes officers, and community management committee employees from the Fuqinglu Police Station as well as the Fuqinglu Community Management Committee came in nine police vehicles to the sisters' hair salon to harass them. Since Ms. Yang Shujun was not there, they seized Ms. Yang Shuhua and confiscated her personal belongings from her home. Insiders said that the police station and community management committee had her transferred to the Jingxin Brainwashing Center that very night.

Because Ms. Yang Shujun practiced Falun Gong and would give up her belief despite the persecution of the Jiang regime, her husband could not endure the harassment and tremendous pressure from the Fuqinglu Police Station and community management committee anymore, and he divorced her. On March 6, when Ms. Yang was at work, officers from the Fuqinglu Police Station wanted to arrest her. When her sister, Ms. Yang Shuhua, came out to stop them, the authorities ended up taking both of them to the Pi County Detention Center and holding them for 37 days. This has brought tremendous harm to their mother and other family members. Their mother passed away shortly afterwards.

In early March 2012, Zeng Minjun, a residency management officer from the Fuqinglu Police Station, went to their hair salon to check up on them, claiming he needed to verify their residency registration. On March 12, Zeng went to the salon again after seeing a notice posted by a salon customer about a tour. Zeng assumed they were going somewhere to clarify the facts, so he took out his camera to take a picture of the notice. However, when the customer and the Yang sisters told him that he could join the tour, he did not dare to say yes. The following afternoon, March 13, more than ten police officers came by and took Ms. Yang Shuhua away. They also confiscated her personal belongings, including her hard-earned income that she used to support her child to go to school.
