(Minghui.org) From the 12th to the 13th of May 2012, Falun Gong practitioners in Poland held activities in Warsaw's city center and Old Town to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. Through a series of activities, they introduced Falun Gong to the public, wished great, benevolent Master a happy birthday, and celebrated the twentieth anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction.

On the 13th of May, practitioners gathered at the park near the Chinese Embassy to do the Falun Gong exercises as a group. Among them were Western practitioners from cities from central Poland, as well as cities surrounding Warsaw. There were new and veteran Chinese and Vietnamese practitioners from Warsaw, and also several people who made a special trip to learn Falun Gong.

After the morning exercises, practitioners staged a silent protest in front of the Chinese Embassy to call attention to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) thirteen years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong. A long truth-clarification banner attracted passers-by to stop and observe. Two policewomen at the gate of the Embassy approached the practitioners to learn more. Having been made aware of the brutal persecution in China, people expressed their support for Falun Gong. The practitioners received the same positive reception in Old Town. People braved the rain to read the truth-clarification exhibits and many signed the petition to protest the CCP’s atrocities.

At Warsaw's Old Town, Falun Gong practitioners displayed a banner in Chinese and English worded, "5.13 World Falun Dafa Day." The banner drew a lot of public attention and many people approached to inquire more about Falun Gong. Practitioners shared their personal experiences and told them about the goodness of Falun Dafa, about Falun Dafa’s spread in the world, how it enhances social stability and world peace, and how practitioners around the world celebrate May 13 as World Falun Dafa Day. Many people expressed great interest in the practice.

Several groups of Chinese people passed by the event. Not only did they gather to watch, but they also took photos of themselves with the truth-clarificaiton exhibits or the "5.13 World Falun Dafa Day" banner in the background. They also readily accepted and read the Falun Gong leaflets, and some took the initiative to pick up other materials, including theNine Commentaries on the Communist Party.

Passing a Chinese restaurant, a Falun Gong practitioner saw a bus full of Chinese teenagers dressed in martial arts outfits. The young people expressed their sincere thanks after the practitioner gave them the few copies of truth-clarification newspaper left at hand.

Inside the restaurant, several CCP officials from mainland China were having a meal. When they saw the Falun Gong practitioner delivering newspapers, they stopped eating and wanted to hear the truth. Starting from the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square “self-immolation,” the practitioner talk about how Jiang Zemin illegally ordered the persecution of Falun Gong, how the CCP’s Political and Legislative Affairs Committee systematically persecuted Falun Gong under the leadership of its former secretary Luo Gan and the incumbent secretary Zhou Yongkang. After learning the truth, two Chinese officials quit the CCP on the spot. The other official, though he did not speak his mind, had nothing to say in face of the facts. Before leaving, the practitioner asked them to always remember "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." They reminded the officials that the CCP has cemented its demise for going against the truth of the universe, and asked them to choose a bright future amidst this great historic change.
