(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa was introduced to the public 20 years ago. Many people who practice Falun Dafa have experienced miracles and I am one of them. I would like to share my story with all of you.

My 20-year-old daughter was a junior in high school in 2009 and was preparing for the university entrance exam. My husband and I rented a house near the school in order to be able to help her more during this busy, intense time. However, I unexpectedly found myself pregnant at the age of 42. We had no plan for a second child at all. But somehow, I felt that this baby must have a predestined relationship with us. My husband and I discussed whether we should keep the baby or have an abortion and we decided to keep the baby.

Time went by very quickly. One day, my husband took me to see a doctor when I was five months pregnant. After performing an ultrasound, the doctor looked at the pictures and said to me, “Your baby has serious problems. You need to go to a specialist and have another ultrasound." We took a taxi to the maternal and child health center immediately. That doctor looked at the ultrasound pictures and said the same thing, that our baby had problems. He suggested that we go to Shenyang Medical University for a final diagnosis. At that time we were a bit shocked. Our hearts were broken and we could not believe it. So we went to two more private hospitals and one more state hospital, and the results were all the same. Finally I asked the doctors what would happen if the child was born. They said the baby would need a kidney transplant, an artificial anus, and that the child may also be mentally retarded and would have a hard time surviving. My husband and I felt like we were struck by lightning. Our hearts sank to the bottom of our stomachs. When we went back home my husband and I were so sad. He couldn’t work for three days. He spent all day with his head down, not saying a word. Our daughter kept crying. I was frustrated and didn’t know what to do.

Then a miracle happened! One afternoon I went to a nearby park for a stroll and I encountered an elderly woman who practiced Falun Dafa. She was very kind and told me about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She said that quitting the evil CCP could save my life. So I quit. She also told me to recite, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" and that by doing so calamities could be turned into blessings. I told her that I knew Falun
Dafa was good, but that I had encountered something very difficult and that I didn't know what to do. Then I told her about my baby. She said that Dafa is amazing, and that a lot of people with worse situations than mine turned out fine. She also said that I had to ensure that my heart was very sincere about Falun Dafa, and I agreed that I would be sincere, for the sake of my son. From that moment my heart was full of joy. When I came home I told my husband and daughter not to worry and that everything would be alright.

Every day I recited "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," whenever I had the time. My due date was coming up, and I went to my neighborhood clinic. The doctor was very friendly and always smiled. He asked, while looking at the lab test results, if I had been to other clinics. He said that there was something wrong with my baby and asked if I wanted to keep it. He said he was worried about me. I said, "Do not worry, a Falun Dafa practitioner told me to recite 'Falun Dafa is good'. I will be alright." The doctor asked if I was kidding and told me to let him know how the baby was after I gave birth.

Ten days later I went to another clinic for further examination. The doctor was very cold. He said I was relatively old and asked why I would want a second baby. He also told me that my baby had so many problems that would cost a lot of money to treat. My husband told me not to listen to him. I went home and continued to recite “Falun Dafa is good.”

My baby was finally born 20 days past due. He was a big healthy boy, a little bit over eight pounds and everything went well! My husband jumped with joy and said he knew things would turn out well.

A month after giving birth, my husband and I brought some gifts and thanked the Falun Dafa practitioner I met. She said with a smile, "Don't thank me, thank my Master. Falun Dafa can save people’s lives and has boundless power!" My husband asked, "Dafa is so amazing, why does the Chinese government disallow it?" She told us that only the Chinese government persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners and that Falun Dafa is warmly welcomed all over the world. I said, “I want to learn it, I have to save sentient beings as well.” She told me I could tell my friends, family, and the people around me about my baby’s story so people would understand Falun Dafa and quit the CCP. I said, “Sure thing, will do!”

From then on, I told my son’s story to my relatives, friends, and classmates to let them know the “magic” of Dafa. Also, I sincerely clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to them. The doctor who performed the ultrasounds for my baby quit the CCP as well. After practicing Falun Dafa, all my illnesses went away. When I clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, I always tell my son's story. People keep telling me that this is indeed a miracle!
