(Minghui.org) Mr. Gu Guoxun, a Falun Gong practitioner from Qionglai City, Sichuan Province, has been missing since his arrest in 2010. Below is a summary of the persecution he endured since 1999.

Mr. Gu used to work as a physician. He started practicing Falun Gong in March 1999. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, Mr. Gu was illegally arrested for his faith and had his home ransacked by authorities multiple times. He was sentenced to prison twice.

After being released from prison in early 2010, he began peddling a tricycle carriage to make a living. To dispel the CCP's slanderous lies, he clarified the facts about Falun Gong to people whenever he had an opportunity.

At the end of March 2010, Mr. Gu talked about Falun Gong with a 16-year-old boy named Yan Xiao, who was a passenger on his tricycle. The teenager reported Mr. Gu to the police after getting off the tricycle. As a result, Mr. Gu was arrested again, and his home was subsequently ransacked.

Following Mr. Gu's arrest, his family learned that he was being held in the Qionglai Detention Center. The family made numerous requests to see him but never got a response. Mr. Gu's whereabouts have been unknown ever since. We urge anyone with knowledge of Mr. Gu's situation to please come forward.

The CCP's Propaganda Is Corrupting China's Youth

Since coming to power over 60 years ago, the Chinese communist regime has systematically promoted atheism and denounced all spiritual belief. Over the past 13 years, the CCP has fabricated many slanderous lies about Falun Gong.

When another Falun Gong practitioner met with teenager Yan Xiao at the end of April 2010, in an attempt to further clarify the facts about Falun Gong to the boy, he was sad to see that the teenager was deeply poisoned by the CCP's propaganda. Yan Xiao admitted reporting Mr. Gu to the police and said that he did not wish to hear anything more about Falun Gong. When the practitioner suggested that the boy consider withdrawing from the CCP's Youth League and Young Pioneers in order to distance himself from the CCP's crimes against humanity, the teenager dismissed the idea and announced that he did not believe in any gods or karmic retribution (1).

At the time of Mr. Gu's arrest, Yan Xiao lived in Division No. 1 of Qianjin Village and attended a vocational school in Qionglai. He graduated from the vocational school earlier this year. Following graduation, at the insistence of his father, he started learning how to operate bulldozers. Two days later, around 3 p.m. on June 4, 2012, Yan Xiao was electrocuted after his bulldozer dug into the ground and broke an underground wire.

(1) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing, and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.
