(Minghui.org) Citizens from two locations in Hebei Province, China recently signed petitions with their thumbprints in defense of Falun Dafa practitioners. Given the importance of the situation, many practitioners from around the world have participated enthusiastically in clarifying the truth to people from Hebei, calling for solidarity with citizens in China, and exposing the long running persecution, led by the Political and Legal Committee, of Dafa practitioners and the citizens who gave their thumbprints.
I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in this truth clarification process. I talked to a citizen in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province on the global RTC platform. At first the man thought that the call was a recording, but after confirming that I was a real person talking, he said that he had been to Hong Kong and knew some of the truth. He also asked me if I knew whether he was a party member or not. Thanks to fellow practitioners at the Hong Kong truth clarification sites, the man was already familiar with the wave of people quitting the CCP, so I asked him to quit and the man did so without hesitation. When I asked him if he knew about the thumbprints petition, he said that he did not, so I briefed him on the situation and added that the whole world is in support of the Hebei citizens' righteous action.
When I began to clarify the truth about Dafa, the man's attitude suddenly changed. He asked what generation disciple I was and requested to speak to Teacher in person. I felt that he still had a good conscience but had misunderstandings about Dafa and lacked a serious attitude. Therefore I delved deeper into clarifying the truth about Dafa and the self immolation incident. The man did not give up on his unreasonable questions, nor did he want to listen to me anymore, so he hung up. I rang him again and he continued to ask the same questions, refusing to let me speak, and hung up once more.
After I reflected on how Teacher tells everyone to take righteous thoughts seriously in the “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching” and fellow practitioners' sharing on the topic of righteous thoughts, I focused my mind and sent forth a strong righteous thought to eliminate the bad factors behind that man and dialed again with righteous thoughts. I said solemnly to the man: China has a culture for practicing cultivation and the ancients said that to give a cultivator a bite of food is accumulating vast fortune, and defaming the Buddha Fa is a tremendous crime. Please do not believe in the evil lies. Falun Gong is spread in over 100 countries around the world and has received over 1600 awards from various governments. Teacher Li has been nominated numerous times for the Nobel Peace Prize and is well respected across the globe. Then I mentioned the truth about the self immolation hoax and the law suits happening abroad. I told him to remember that Falun Dafa is good, Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance) is good. The man's attitude changed completely and he said “yes, yes” repeatedly. He listened to me finish clarifying the truth and thanked me.
In the platform sharings, some practitioners say that they often stumble upon troublesome situations in which the person does not want to hear the truth, behaves unreasonably, or will not let the practitioner speak. I suggest that everyone should take righteous thoughts seriously in this situation and clear out the bad factors behind the call's receiver. This is my personal understanding and I thought I would share it with everyone. Many fellow practitioners have performed quite well in clarifying the truth to citizens in China and hopefully they can also share and we can improve simultaneously.
Finally I will use a selection from Teacher's new lecture to encourage everyone:
“It is not the beings at the surface that are doing evil to Dafa disciples. When you have addressed the factors behind the scenes, take another look at the surface and see what happens. With no factors at work behind the scenes, a human being will do whatever you tell him to. You are a cultivator and someone with abilities, and you are a being who is walking the path to divinity. Whereas that being is an ordinary human, and he is powerless.” (“20th Anniversary Fa Teaching”)
