(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Jian was arrested at his work at around 10 a.m. on July 6, 2012 by a group of officers from the Zhongshan District Domestic Security Division. They took his house key and went to his home. Mr. Wang's 70-year-old father was home cooking at the time, and was frightened by the intruders. Upon asking who they were, an officer told him that they were from the Zhongshan District Domestic Security Division.

Qu Gaoyang led the group of officers, including another officer named Qin and one with the ID number 210125. The youngest officer monitored Mr. Wang's father and would not let him answer the phone or open the front door. Officer Qin searched the home until 5 p.m. They confiscated Mr. Wang's computer, printer, Falun Dafa books and several hundred yuan in cash. They also said that Mr. Wang had used his car to commit crimes, so they confiscated that too. Someone claiming to be an official from the Broadcasting Bureau came and removed Mr. Wang's satellite dish without showing any legal documentation.

When Mr. Wang's family members went to the Domestic Security Division the next day to look for him, the officers there denied knowledge of the arrest. Mr. Wang's family went to many places to inquire about his whereabouts, and finally found officer Qu at the Minzhu Square Police Station in the Zhongshan District. They were told that Mr. Wang had been taken to Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian. Mr. Wang's father went to the detention center to give money and some clothes to Mr. Wang. However, the guard at the reception office said that no one by that name was being held there. Mr. Wang's father persisted in finding his whereabouts, and was eventually told that he was being held at the detention center.
