(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has persecuted Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners for thirteen years. This is the darkest, most brutal and most horrendous time in the history of China. However, Falun Dafa practitioners firmly believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They clarify the truth to sentient beings and encourage people to quit the CCP, helping to save people who have been lied to by the CCP. The following are several such stories.
An Awakening of an Official from the 610 Office
A man known as “Ni Hong” was a 610 Office agent in a police station and, since 1999, he had actively participated in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. He harassed, arrested and tortured practitioners in order to be promoted to the head of the police station. Falun Dafa practitioners clarified the truth to him, but he refused to acknowledge the facts and continued to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. One day, he went to an elderly practitioner's home and attempted to force her to give up cultivation and write a guarantee that she would no longer practice Falun Dafa. The woman told him about her cultivation experiences and how her cancer had vanished because of practicing Falun Gong. She explained how she actually saved the National Bureau of Health a huge amount in medical expenses and prolonged her life. This practitioner's family was relieved that she could continue to work. She worked hard and received several awards from her company. She said to Ni Hong, “ You and I both experienced the 'Cultural Revolution' and we all know the political issues in China today. I hope this time, we are not used by the CCP for its political purposes.” Her words made Ni Hong think about the “Cultural Revolution” and he became aware of something. He said from his heart, “I feel that the persecution of Falun Dafa is the same as the political activity during the Cultural Revolution. You reminded me of this. Let me think about that.” Since that conversation, Ni Hong never again harassed any Falun Dafa practitioners. I heard later that he took early early retirement.
Prison Monitor Enlightens to the Truth
A woman known as “Wang Ning” is a Falun Dafa practitioner who appealed for justice for Dafa in Beijing in December of 2000. She was illegally detained and sentenced to forced labor for one year. Due to health issues, however, she was refused by the forced labor camp, so the 610 Office illegally sent her to a detention center. Wang Ning's personal monitor in prison was Zhao Li, a woman who had been convicted of fraud. Zhao Li's husband was the head of a commerce institute, and so Zhao Li counted on her husband's backing and ill-treated others without repercussion. She beat and verbally abused Wang Ning, but Wang Ning wasn't angry at her. Instead, she clarified the truth to Zhao Li. Zhao refused the truth and reported Wang Ning to a supervisor who actively persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. One day, Zhao Li injured her foot when she went to the washroom. She had terrible pain. Since she was so mean to people she was ignored by others in her room. However, Wang Ning buried the past and helped this unpleasant woman daily. She also told her the facts about Falun Dafa and reminded her that kind thoughts toward Dafa will be met with rewards of a bright life.
Zhao Li was thoroughly moved. She promised not do any more bad things or treat others poorly. Two months later, Zhao Li's family paid her fines and she was released. She really appreciated Wang Ning's help. Wang Ning also kept after Zhao Li to be a good person and to rely on herself. She agreed. Wang Ning was able to escape from the Detention Center as a result of her righteous thoughts. Later, Zhao Li brought gifts and visited her with her husband and son. She held Wang Ning's hand and they looked like sisters. Wang Ning helped her whole family to quit the various CCP organizations.
In November of 2005, Zhao Li and her husband planned to visit their relatives in another town. She asked Wang Ning to take care of her son while she was away. Wang Ning was happy to do so. Zhao Li was excited and said, “I feel very confident with a Falun Dafa practitioner looking after my family. I am assured that my son will be safe.”
Prisoner Finds the Truth and Vows to Study Zhuan Falun
A man called “Zhang Ping” was a drug addict sentenced to a forced labor camp for two years. In Gansu No.1 Forced Labor Camp, the policemen used other prisoners to monitor Falun Dafa practitioners. Zhang Ping monitored around twenty Falun Dafa practitioners. In order to obtain benefits in prison or to avoid hard labor, monitors actively cooperate with prison guards to abuse and torture Falun Dafa practitioners. After a while, Zhang Ping found that Falun Dafa practitioners were all good people and they never retaliated when verbally abused or beaten. He also found that those practitioners had decent jobs and nice families. He wondered why Falun Dafa practitioners who have good reputations and wealth do not give up their belief even though they know they could be tortured to death or disabled due to the brutal persecution.
Zhang Ping had so many questions answered after talking with the Falun Dafa practitioners whom he monitored. He learned that if one studied Zhuan Falun and cultivated according to the principles of Falun Dafa, one would enjoy health and enhanced morality. This is beneficial to the whole society. If all the people in a nation would study Falun Dafa, there would be peace and prosperity for everyone. We would not even need policemen. One day, Zhang Ping talked with a Falun Dafa practitioner who was an artist from Longnan City. The artist said, “Do you know who actually made you a drug addict? It was the Communist Party. It rules under a brutal regime. As long as you don't go against the CCP, it always provides opportunities to participate in corruption. Many policemen and government officials are involved in the drug trade to make a lot of money. They send you to drug rehabilitation centers and forced labor camps while they also extort money from your family. They ask you to beat Falun Dafa practitioners and you accumulate a huge amount of karma which will be very hard to ever pay off. The CCP is an absolutely evil cult and it does not have any moral standards. Today, it uses you and it will kill you tomorrow. It killed eighty million people during its various political movements.”
Zhang Ping was just beginning to enlighten to certain principles. He only superficially cooperated with prison supervisors. He helped practitioners to watch for the guards and delivered news and Master's new articles. He stopped new monitors from beating Falun Dafa practitioners. In February of 2009, Zhang Ping was released. He said, “When I get out of this place, the first thing I will do is to find a copy of Zhuan Falun and I will study it.”
