(Minghui.org) Mr. Shi Wenzhuo was arrested by Dong Ping and other officers from the local domestic security division on May 30, 2012, and was held in the Jiutai City Detention Center. His 83-year-old father, Mr. Shi Shuyuan, recently sent a letter to officials in the Jiutai government demanding the immediate release of his son.
Mr. Shi Shuyuan wrote:
“My son believes in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and is a good person. However, he was illegally sentenced to nine years in prison. During those nine years, he has resolutely persevered in his belief.
“At around 3:00 p.m. on November 27, 2002, six or seven people broke into my son's home. They forced his hands behind his back and took him to the Jiutai Police Department. One of those involved was Chen, deputy section chief of the Political Security Department of the Jiutai Police Department, and another was a police officer named Dong Ping. At the first floor's receiving and dispatching office in the police station, three people, including officer Qu Chunsen from the political security section and head Wei from the first section of the Changchun Police Department put a padded plastic bag over my son's head and tied him to a metal chair with his hands cuffed. Three metal bars hung from a rope in front of his chest, and a person stood on each side of the chair holding the rope. They pulled the rope to make the bars hit my son's head. They then took the plastic bag off his head. They tortured him like this repeatedly, pulling hard on the rope and pushing hard on his stomach. Officer Wei shouted, “If we kill you, we will just say that you had a sudden heart attack. There are no marks on your body and the swelling on your arms will go away. There is nothing your family can do.” Qu also forced alcohol into my son's mouth. That day my son was tortured for nearly 10 hours (from 3:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m).
“The next morning three officers, including Qu, tortured my son again and threatened him. They forced him to confess to a crime that he did not commit and then took his fingerprints. My son's mind was completely numb and he was close to collapsing. He could not feel his arms or hold anything in his hands for more than two months. He was held in Jiutai Detention Center for one year.
“My son suffered such horrible torture and was then illegally sentenced to nine years in prison. The unjust imprisonment and inhuman torture cannot shake his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!
“Half a year after my son was released, Dong Ping and other officers from the domestic security division in Jiutai arrested him again on the morning of May 30, 2012. My son met Dong Ping and gave him a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD, in the hope that Dong Ping would choose a good future for himself. However, Dong Ping arrested him and took his house key. Before my daughter-in-law arrived at home, they had already opened the door and ransacked the house. They confiscated a laptop computer, two MP5s, two MP3s, two mobile phones, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. At 6:00 p.m. that day they detained my son.”
