(Minghui.org) In a recent case, Falun Gong practitioner Li Hongkui from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province was tortured in prison for seven years, and finally died due to the torture. Prior to his release, his family was suddenly notified that he had developed a cerebral hemorrhage. When his family finally saw him, he was unable to speak. Later, just as his condition seemed to be improving, he suddenly passed away. According to investigators, he was placed in solitary confinement immediately after officials from the Provincial Political and Legislative Committee had a conversation with him. Since that time, he was unable to speak and he began unfocused staring. His family suspected that he had been subjected to forced drug administration, which caused the cerebral hemorrhage, and eventually death.
The Chinese Communist Party's Suspicious Human Body Experiments
Mr. Li Hongkui's case reminds us of another event which occurred in Heilongjiang Women’s Prison. Vicious individuals were incited by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to forcibly administer unknown drugs to Falun Gong practitioners being held in solitary confinement. These practitioners were shackled to a ring on the floor, restrained in an iron chair, or handcuffed while being injected. According to practitioners who were subjected to injections, more than one type of unknown substance was used. Some caused thirst and hot flashes, while others caused severe headaches and abdominal pain. There was a pink substance which caused fatigue and muscle relaxation. The guards monitored their symptoms, asking questions such as, “Do you feel hot? Do you feel alright?”
Several practitioners held in the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin were tortured to death. Many others were tortured until they were in critical condition, then sent home, where they soon died. Practitioner Dong Liantai from Shuangcheng was forty five years old. Several days after she was sent home from the forced labor camp, she had a high fever and coughed up substances resembling lung tissue that had a terrible smell. Her symptoms were very similar to those experienced by several other practitioners before they were tortured to death at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. These practitioners included Liu Quanguo, Yue Baoxue, and Dong Wencheng. Guard Zhao Shuang told Mr. Liu before he was sent home, “You will die soon.”
Practitioner Fu Yao was a music teacher from Shuangcheng. He was taken to a psychiatric hospital where he was forcibly given an unknown drug. He subsequently lost consciousness, and upon waking, he suffered memory loss for the past seven years. At that time, over twenty people were detained in the same room. After the injections, their eyes glazed over, they exhibited dull facial expressions, and some drooled.
Practitioner Liu Zhimei was recommended for admission to the Department of Chemical Engineering at Qinghua University in 1997 with the top score in Shandong Province. She started practicing Falun Gong while in college. However, she was arrested in May 2001. She was subjected to torture, leaving her with a deformed head, an injured chest, and the loss of several fingernails. She was sentenced to twelve years in prison in November 2001, at the age of 22. From the end of 2002 to 2008, she was subjected to daily injections of poisonous drugs at the Shandong Women’s Prison. She was classified with a “mental illness.” She developed mental symptoms in 2003 due to the injections. In November 2008 - three days before she was released from prison, she was given another injection because staff claimed that she had a tooth cavity. (According to her family, she didn’t have a cavity)
On the third day after she returned home, Ms. Liu suddenly became mentally disoriented, and her condition worsened daily. She became restless and spoke irrationally, had uncontrollable body movements, and didn’t sleep at all, or only two hours per night. She quickly lost her memory and couldn’t even remember her own age. She was always thirsty and needed to drink lots of water. She urinated on her bed but didn’t realize that she was sleeping on a wet bed. An excellent student in Qinghua University thus became mentally and physically ill as a result of torture by the CCP!
Guo Baoyang was a student at Shandong Qingdao Technical Professional College. On the evening of April 3, 2010, while in Qingdao Dashan Detention Center, guards placed a toxic substance in his food and water. They also released an unknown pungent gas along with creating loud noise and dazzling light. One time, a guard asked viciously, “Smell it! Does it smell good to you?”
Mr. Guo was released after seven days of detainment. After he returned home, he became mentally disoriented, and incontinent of both bowel movements and urination. He experienced confusion, headaches, and thoughts of suicide. These symptoms recurred several times per day.
Practitioner Liu Jinying is the former deputy director of Laishui County Petition Bureau in Hebei Province. She was sentenced to five years in prison due to her belief in Falun Gong. She was subjected to brutal torture and forced drug administration. On October 7, 2011, she was arrested again, and taken to brainwashing sessions in the CCP's Laishui Party School. There, she was beaten until unconscious, then injected with unknown drugs. She later felt sick to her stomach and was bloated.
Yin Jinmei is from Dongchengshe Village, Lianhua Town, Lishan District in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. On March 24, 2009, she was sentenced by Tian Ruhong and others from the Jiujiang, Lushan District Public Security Bureau to one year and six months in prison. She was then sent to Jiangxi Nanchang Women’s Forced Labor Camp. She refused the staff's attempts at "transformation," so the guards often (secretly) put unknown substances into her food. She once discovered their actions and questioned the guard, but the guard denied any wrongdoing. On two subsequent occasions she was bound by six or seven guards who then force-fed her a harmful substance. There was a kind guard at the site who said, “She is very young. Don’t use this type of medicine.” However, no one listened to him.
Jiangxi Nanchang Men’s Forced Labor Camp is also suspected of being involved in harmful drug administration as a method of torturing practitioners. After practitioner Zhu Shizhen, a farmer from Huangma Village, Nancheng County of Jiangxi Province, was released from the prison, guards purposely emphasized to his family that he was in good condition. However, two days later, his mind became confused. He became mentally disoriented and passed away soon after.
Liu Mulan is from Huizhou in Guangdong Province. In January 2012, she was taken to the Fourth Division in Guangdong Women’s Prison. Guards secretly placed toxic drugs into her food. They later forced her to take the harmful “medicine” daily. As a result, she developed many symptoms, including confusion, hallucinations, dull eyes with blurred vision, swollen feet, blurred speech, and white foam in the corners of her mouth when she spoke. This healthy and cheerful person was tortured to such an extent in just four months.
The History of Human Experiments by the Japanese Army
During the war when the Japanese invaded China, the Japanese secretly developed infectious agents in order to produce potent bioweapons for biological warfare. These included typhoid fever, plague, cholera, dysentery and tuberculosis. They carried out human testing in China. The most notorious testing was the “731 Troop” in Harbin. Bioweapon inventor Ishii Shiro was the troop's chief two times. Thus, it was named “Ishii troops.” The program was founded by the Epidemic Prevention Research Laboratory of the Army Medical School in Tokyo, Japan, and consisted of eight departments and a special class. They experimented on over three thousand human subjects, far exceeding the German “Poznan Bacteriology Institute.” In this murder site, inhumane testing and dissection of living human bodies were carried out to obtain information about methods to kill a person, the process of bacterial infection, and physiological changes. They utilized forty to fifty different and cruel testing methods.
In 1946, Harbin became the first city established after the CCP's rise to power. The CCP took control of the country – but also carried on the cruelty of the Japanese troops. The experimentation on human beings is one of the examples.
During the past thirteen years of the CCP's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, numerous crimes have been exposed, including forced drug administration. This occurs not only in Harbin prisons and forced labor camps, but also in prisons throughout China. This criminal method is not only used on practitioners, but also on many in the general population who make appeals.
Hate Propaganda Eliminates Morality
Why did the CCP create such tragedies and act so brutally toward its own people?
Before the killing of Jews, the Fascists used propaganda to claim that Jews were “Germany's enemies.” Before the Japanese soldiers were trained to kill Chinese people, they claimed that the Chinese were inferior. They called the human subjects for their experiments “wood.” They denied that the victims were the same species and presumed that they were harmful or unaware.
However, the CCP killed its own people – their neighbors, villagers, colleagues, friends, teachers, and even families. How did it achieve this?
The CCP used the same hate propaganda, which lasted even longer than the Nazi’s propaganda, to demonize certain groups of people. They instilled the theory of ruthless suppression of enemies, and beautified the crimes against victims as “revolution” and “righteousness.” The mindsets of Chinese who were instilled with atheism and fighting philosophy is deviated. They lost their awareness of Chinese traditional culture which promoted worshiping God and Heaven, self-discipline, and self-reflection. They lost the moral standards of compassion, righteousness, respect, wisdom, and belief. They no longer followed the code of conduct, including self-control, humility, consideration, and thrift. Nowadays, the society is dominated by the fake, the vicious, and fighting. People’s compassion has been suppressed, while their evil has been amplified. Driven by lies, the atrocities recurred in China.
The CCP labeled the land and factory owners as “exploiting classes,” the former Republic government staff and even anti-Japanese generals as “anti-revolutionists,” the intellectuals who were pro-democracy as “rightists,” and the patriotic students who were anti-corruption as “thugs.” Subsequently, soldiers, Red Guards, police, and even general citizens are justified in their crimes – beatings, torture, murder, and poisoning. Meanwhile, the CCP set itself up as judge. After each political movement, they placed blame on another group of victims. After the spread of Falun Dafa, the soul of China finally started to wake up. People’s behavior and words have been rectified. Falun Gong practitioners once again have the correct standard for measuring things. The fearful CCP slandered and falsely accused Falun Gong, and persecuted people who believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Under the lies and violence, victims lost their physical bodies, however, the murderer destroyed his own soul. The CCP is the ultimate criminal and enemy of the Chinese and people of the world.
