(Minghui.org) Ms. Zuo Xianfeng was released from the notorious Qianjin Forced Labor Camp of Harbin on the morning of August 29, 2013, after it was shut down.

Qianjin Forced Labor Camp was originally known as Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. During the first four years of the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime, at least 13 practitioners were murdered there. The “6.20 Wanjia Tragedy” in 2001, shocked the world. During the past 14 years, Qianjin or Wanjia Forced Labor Camp has caused the disability, mental collapse, and death of numerous practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zuo Xianfeng, an English teacher from Sandaogang Middle School of Yilan County, is an honest, sincere, kind, and hardworking person. Because of her competence at work, she was named “Outstanding Director and Teacher of the Year” by the city government. Her class was also awarded the top prize given by the county. Ms. Zuo was highly respected by her colleagues and students. This outstanding teacher was repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese communist regime for her faith in Falun Gong.

On April 25, 2012, after finding out that Ms. Zuo was teaching a class in school, Xu Haibo, the director of the 610 Office in Yilan County, ordered the Board of Education to suspend her license. On July 30, 2012, Deputy Director Li Baihe of the Public Security Bureau of Yilan County, and Captain Zhang Yingduo of the Domestic Security Department, arrested, detained, and beat Ms. Zuo. Zhang Yingduo, clamoring, “I know the forced labor camp has persecuted you before. But you know what? I am even worse. I will persecute you to death.” Ms. Zuo was arrested again on November 4, 2012, and sent to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp of Harbin by Zhang Yingduo on November 19, where she served 18 months.

Ms. Zuo's relatives and 60-year-old mother went to the Provincial Labor Camp Administration, the Bureau of Justice, the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp, and other related departments in mid-August 2013, several times, to demand her release. Feeling pressured, the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp notified the local 610 Office to come get Ms. Zuo (the last practitioner in the camp.) The 610 Office called Ms. Zuo's family to come in and sign the release form, and told them that they had assigned Ms. Zuo's school authority (Sandaogang Middle School) to pick her up from the labor camp on August 29, 2013.

Xu Haibo, the director of the 610 Office, instructed Deputy Director Xu Yan of the 610 Office, Director Li Yuwen of Sandaogang Police Station, the assistant principal of Sandaogang Middle School, the president of the union, and personnel from the Board of Education of Yilan County to escort Ms. Zuo from Qianjin Forced Labor Camp.

Xu Haibo refused to permit Ms. Zuo's mother to go with them, but she insisted on seeing her daughter. Xu Yan cajoled her into waiting at home and let her two brothers (Ms. Zuo's uncles) go with them. However, on August 29 at 2:00 a.m., they secretly left without Ms. Zuo's uncles.

Later that morning, Ms. Zuo's mother and her relatives took a taxi to Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. When they got there, they saw Xu Yan and four other people in a yellow car. As Ms. Zuo's mother and relatives were entering the forced labor camp, Xu Yan and Li Yuwen stopped them and demanded to know who they were.

Zhang Bo of Qianjin Forced Labor Camp called the school authorities to sign the release form for Ms. Zuo. Ms. Zuo's mother and relatives followed them closely. Xu Yan told Ms. Zuo's mother, “Go home and wait for us. We don't have room for you in the car.” After they finished the procedure, Ms. Zuo, accompanied by her mother and relatives, walked out of the forced labor camp.

When they exited the gate, a yellow car drove up and blocked Ms. Zuo and her mother. Personnel from the 610 Office then forced Ms. Zuo into the car. Ms. Zuo's mother started yelling and grabbed hold of her daughter. Amidst the struggle and chaos, Ms. Zuo's mother fainted. One of the relatives shouted at the agents, “If she dies, you will be held responsible.” Ms. Zuo took her mother by her shoulders while the other two relatives took her legs and carried her to the taxi.

Xu Yan ordered Li Yuwen to confiscate the taxi driver's ID and the car key. Li rushed to the taxi driver, snatched his car key and ID, and asked him, “Are you a Falun Gong practitioner? Why did you bring them here?” The taxi driver shrugged and said, “I am just a driver. Why should I bother to know anything?” Embarrassed, Li returned the key but kept his ID. Xu Yan told the people in the car, “We can't let Zuo Xianfeng get in the taxi.” Li Yuwen helped bring Ms. Zuo's mother to the taxi while trying to pull Ms. Zuo to the yellow car. Ms. Zuo and her mother quickly went and sat in the taxi.

Xu Yan and five other people surrounded the taxi. Just then, Ms. Zuo's sister arrived. Li Yuwen asked, “Who are you?” Ms. Zuo's sister said, “I am her sister. What you are doing is breaking the law.” Ms. Zuo's sister was holding the car door handle while trying to talk to her sister and mother. Li Yuwen threatened her, “If you break the door, you'll have to pay for it.” Ms. Zuo's sister said, “What do you care if I damage the door?”

Li Yuwen threatened the taxi driver and Ms. Zuo's family, “I just dialed 110 (the police emergency number). They will come soon.” Xu Yan and Li Yuwen called their supervisors to find out what to do. One of Ms. Zuo's relatives suggested to them, “Call 120 (for the ambulance) and let Ms. Zuo accompany her mother to the hospital first.” Li Yuwen said, “Her mother can go to the hospital, but not her. Aren't you her relative? Why don't you go with her mother to the hospital?” The relative said, “Her daughter is here. Why can't she go with her? If I go to the hospital, I can't sign any papers on behalf of her daughter.” Li refused to listen and said Ms. Zuo had to go with him.

Xu Yan discovered that their car had a flat tire. The driver took it to the repair shop. Li Yuwen called 110 again. Ms. Zuo's relative told Li, “You helped with the release of Zuo Xianfeng, and you did a good thing. Don't you want to take her home? Now her mother is here. Just give her back to her mother. Why do you have to force her to sit in your car? If you are still worried, you can sit in the taxi and go home with them.” Li said, “No, no, no!” Xu Yan and Li insisted in separating Ms. Zuo and her mother.

The deadlock continued for about two hours. They finally agreed that Ms. Zuo and her mother could ride in the yellow car to go home.

From the beginning to end, it was clear that the 610 Office and the Sandaogang Police Station planned to abduct Ms. Zuo again. In the beginning, the 610 Office and Sandaogang Police Station cajoled Ms. Zuo's family by not letting them ride in their car to pick up Ms. Zuo. When they saw Ms. Zuo's mother and relatives at Qianjin Forced Labor Camp, they refused to let Ms. Zuo go home with her mother, and forcibly tried to separate them, regardless of her mother's poor health. Their sinister intention was completely unmasked.
