A devastating flood hit Fushun, Liaoning Province, on August 16, 2013. Nankouqian Township was the hardest hit. In an instant, hundreds of people lost their lives. Dead bodies could be seen floating on the upper reaches of the reservoir. By August 19 th , 178 bodies had been brought to Qingyuan Funeral Home. The military had to dig mass graves to bury the dead.
However, the Chinese Communist Party concealed the number of deaths in order to “protect the national games.” Hundreds of people died in the flood. The following are true accounts of people who remembered “Falun Dafa is good!” and survived.

My Parents Were Saved Thanks to the Master of Falun Dafa
My parents live in Qingyuan Township. By the evening of August 16, 2013, several townships in Liaoning Province were already flooded. It rained for several days, and the water kept rising. To escape the water, my parents climbed on a corn harvester.
As night came, it continued to pour. When the water level rose to two meters, the harvester was washed away. My parents managed to hang on, and the harvester floated through the flooded streets. The streets had turned into rivers and disappeared. After several hours the village looked like an ocean. My parents kept repeating “Falun Dafa is good” and begged Master to save them. Suddenly the harvester stopped, and my parents crawled down. The water was up to their chests. They climbed to the second floor window of a building and were safe.
On the 17th, my husband found them and brought them to our home. The family called and said my mother told them the only reason they were saved was because they kept saying, “Falun Dafa is good!” I really appreciate Master from the bottom of my heart. My parents were saved because we believe Falun Dafa is good!
A Retired Couple Witness Falun Dafa's Power
A retired senior couple used to work for the Naokouqian Township Government. They were taken by surprise when it started flooding, and they didn't have time to get away. As they clung to each other waiting to be swept away, the wife remembered that practitioners had told her, “In your heart remember 'Falun Dafa is good!' whenever you're in any danger.” She loudly called out the words. Suddenly, the flood waters receded, and they were safe.
Afterwards, the husband said, “Falun Dafa is real!” They now truly believe that Falun Dafa is good! Before this, their sons and daughters wouldn't believe what practitioners kept telling them. Now they've witnessed Dafa's miraculous power. They looked for practitioners and asked to quit the Chinese Communist Party.
A Mother and Daughter Are Spared
A mother and a daughter in Nankouqian Township now firmly believe Falun Dafa is good. During the flooding, they were swept into the water. At that moment, the mother remembered practitioners had told her, “Say 'Falun Dafa is good' when you're in danger and you'll be safe.” She immediately told her daughter and their neighbor to call out, “Falun Dafa is good!” She and her daughter said it, but their neighbor didn't believe it, so she remained silent.
Within moments their neighbor was swept away. She lost her life and she was only 40 years old. After the mother and daughter shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" they suddenly saw a rope in front of them. They quickly tied the rope around their waists and followed it, making it to a safe place. They made the right choice and, within seconds, they were spared from death.
A Woman and Child Are Swept Away But Survive
Another woman in the village always listens when practitioners clarify the truth, and she reads the materials they give her. She thinks Falun Dafa is great and says practitioners are very nice.
When the flood waters began rising, she remained in her home. A little neighbor child was with her. Within seconds her house was destroyed by the flood, and she and the child were washed away with her house. The people who saw it happen said, “They must have been killed. There's no use trying to save them.”
As they were being swept away, the woman held onto the child tightly. Two days later, to everyone's astonishment, they walked back into the village. She said, “We were swept far away. I kept calling the child's name and he kept responding.” They were both saved because the elderly lady had a good opinion of Falun Dafa.
Even a House Close to the River Survives
Mr. Sun lives in Nankouqian Village. He lives close to the river in a low lying area. He, his wife, and their grandson climbed to the top of their house and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” and they were safe from the flood.
He watched other people's homes being washed away. He very much appreciates Dafa and believes practitioners.
A Practitioner Puts Dafa First
A 70-year-old practitioner was home alone during the flood. She watched the water rising higher and higher. She knew she had to protect Master's picture and books, so she gathered them up. However, when she looked out, the outside of her home was already flooded and she couldn't get out.
She said, "Master, I can't get out of here. What should I do?" Just then, two corn harvesters floated up to her house, one in front and the other behind. They prevented the rising waters from washing her house away. She was very touched and said, “I will cultivate diligently.”
Three More Saved
A senior couple and their son live in Nankouqian Village. One of their relatives is a Falun Gong practitioner. Their relative always gave them Falun Dafa calendars and truth clarification materials, which they were very happy to accept.
When the flood waters began rising, they remembered to say, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” They were safe and barely lost anything.
Several disasters have taken place in recent years, like the Sichuan Earthquake, Zhouqu mudslide, storm flooding, and SARS. Many people who announced their resignations from from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and understand that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good were protected. In the face of hard facts, they realize that Falun Dafa practitioners are telling people the truth.
When practitioners clarify the truth, they tell people to remember, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” They also advise them to quit the CCP. This has nothing to do with politics; practitioners are simply concerned about people's safety.
