(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Zhiyong of the Heishui Forest Bureau in the Abey District in Sichuan Province used to be a policeman. He is now in the No. 2 Team, No. 6 Division in the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province.
There, criminal inmate He Xiaolong beat him for no reason and then lied to guard Shen Rui, saying that Mr. Lu had hit him, making his nose bleed.
Mr. Lu told Shen Rui, “Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I rarely hit people. Now, as a practitioner, I adhere to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and never hit anyone. Once, when I was still a police officer, a man spit in my face. I didn't hit him, just wiped it off and continued to calmly reason with him.”
Guard Shen ignored Mr. Lu and punched him in the head. Mr. Lu then yelled, “Guard Shen is hitting me!” Shen continued to hit him several more times, before punching him very hard on the chest. Mr. Lu lost consciousness.
When Mr. Lu came to, he said, “Shen Rui, you are violating the law by beating me.” Shen replied, “So what if I hit you. What are you going to do about it?” Mr. Lu said, “I will sue you.”
When Mr. Lu began the process of filing a suit against guard Shen, the other guards tried to stop him, but to no avail.
Shen then called him to the office one night and had a long conversation with him. They talked about their families and the school they had both attended.
Shen eventually begged Mr. Lu, “Please let me off, and I will be nice to you in the future.”
Mr. Lu replied, “On issues involving principles, I will not yield. I will write down everything that happened on October 4th in my weekly diary. The fact that you don’t follow the law and knowingly do things that break the law can no longer be tolerated.”
