(Minghui.org) Mr. Zhu and his wife Bian Xinzhong of the Shijingshan District have endured a lot of hardship as practitioners of Falun Gong in China. Ms. Bian was illegally arrested and sent to a forced labor camp in 2012, and Mr. Zhu longed for her return. She was finally released in the summer of 2013. But their son Dabao (a nickname) was arrested before she was released and the family remains apart.
Ms. Bian, in her sixties, worked as a welder at a steel installation company in Beijing. She had heart disease and gynecological disorders that contributed to her short temper. She also had difficulty walking.
Ms. Bian became disease free when she started to practice Falun Gong. Her disposition became cheerful. She was open minded and eager to help people. Known for her kindness, she invited her in-laws to come and live with them and she cared for them until they passed away. Those days brought fond memories to Mr. Zhu.
Mr. Zhu had his own troubles living with Parkinson's disease. He was constantly worried about his wife while she was imprisoned.
Ms. Bain was arrested and detained in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp for about two years in 2001. She was arrested again and sent to a brainwashing center by the Moshikou Residential Committee in 2005.
Mr. Zhu was upset by the Cultural Revolution style arrests taking place, and this caused his Parkinson's disease to worsen. He became bedridden and needed care. Dabao, the oldest son, was unable to work a normal schedule in order to make time to care for his father.
Dabao, 37, whose name is Zhu Jinsong, was a sales representative for a drug company in Beijing. He made a lot of social contacts working with customers. He did not have any bad habits, and was a kind caregiver for his parents. He was a friendly, quiet person and always smiling.
Dabao went to the Changping Ming Tombs area to remove banners that slandered Falun Dafa with practitioners Ms. Zhang Mingxia, Mr. Yan Feng, and Ms. Lin Fuhua. They were arrested and detained in the Liu Village Detention Center in Changping. Dabao denied any wrongdoing because practicing Falun Gong is legal. However, the Changping 610 Office treated this insignificant event as a major case. He and the other practitioners were falsely sentenced.
Ms. Bain was finally released and returned home; however, Dabao was arrested before her release and she has not seen him. The detention center refused to allow the couple to give their son warm clothes, even though winter was approaching. He is only allowed the money they can pass through the interview window.
Mr. Zhu is bedridden and now worries about his son who is illegally imprisoned. He is saddened every time he thinks about their family being separated, simply because they do not have the freedom to practice Falun Gong.
