Introducing Falun Dafa on a Radio Station in Croatia

March 2, 2013 |   By a practitioner in Croatia

(Minghui.org) On February 22, 2013, the “Sova” radio station in Croatia aired a 13-minute show about Falun Dafa during which a practitioner spoke about the practice, its benefits, and the ongoing persecution in China.

The radio presenter was curious to know why the practice is being persecuted in China and why there is not a lot of media coverage around the world about what is going on in China.

The practitioner spoke about the Communist regime's propaganda that vilified the practice as well as the horrific cases of torture, death, and organ harvesting. The practitioner also spoke about the forced labor camps and how the prisoners were exploited in order to make cheap goods for export.

The presenter commented that many people probably know where the goods come from, but they choose not to care.

The show then focused on the practice of Falun Dafa and the concept of cultivation, a concept not really known to Westerners. A short description of the exercises was given. The presenter commented that the names of the exercises sounded beautiful and mystical and wondered if the exercises were complicated to learn. The practitioner explained that the exercises are easy to learn, but that cultivating the mind according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is of primary importance in the practice.

The listeners were given information about Falun Dafa websites and told that local volunteers are available to teach the practice free of charge.

The radio station has posted the entire show on its web page so that it can be accessed by all who missed the show live.
