(Minghui.org) Ms. Liu took a taxi one day in March, 2013. As soon as she got in the cab, she advised the taxi driver to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The taxi driver was a young woman, who then asked Ms. Liu, “Are you related to Falun Gong?” Ms. Liu replied proudly, “Yes, I am. Falun Gong saves people.” The driver said with admiration, “Falun Gong is awesome!” Ms. Liu was surprised to hear this, and was glad more people were awakening to the truth about Falun Gong. The driver then told Ms. Liu of an incident that she witnessed.
One day after 1:00 p.m., the taxi driver picked up a middle-aged passenger who was hoping to find a huge amount of money he had lost. When they arrived at the place where he lost the money, they saw an elderly woman standing there holding a bag. The elderly lady said that she had been there since 7 a.m. and was waiting for the owner of the bag to return. She had been there for more than six hours without anything to eat or drink. She asked the man a few questions to make sure he was the right person, and then gave him the bag.
The man held the elderly woman's hand in both of his hands and told her excitedly that he really couldn't believe he would get the money back. He offered to give her some money and pay for a meal at a restaurant. But the elderly woman declined the offer and told him that if he wanted to thank anyone, then he should thank her Master. The man looked astonished and asked her who was her Master. The taxi driver clearly remembered she said, “I am a Falun Gong practitioner. My Master is Li Hongzhi. If you want to thank someone, he is the one to thank.”
The elderly lady then told the man about how Falun Gong cultivates the mind and teaches people to do good deeds, and that the TV broadcasts about Falun Gong are all lies that were meant to discredit the practice. Before the elderly lady left she told the man about how the CCP was responsible for the deaths of more than 80 million Chinese and that Heaven will soon destroy the Party because they are persecuting good people who believe in Buddhas. She told the man that he can avoid this catastrophe if he quits the CCP. The man replied that he wanted to quit for him and his family. He also said that he would let people know how kind practitioners are.
The taxi driver then told Ms. Liu that she thought the elderly lady was really admirable for waiting there all morning to hand back that much money to its rightful owner. After hearing what the elderly lady said to the man about Falun Gong, the taxi driver also quit the CCP.
Ms. Liu also calmly told me of another incident involving money that occurred a few years ago. She said that one evening in the summer of 2009, she and two other practitioners found a wallet with 3,000 yuan in cash and four bank cards inside. They then started looking for the wallet's owner. While clarifying the facts to the locals and after walking along several streets, they located the owner's family. Ms. Liu waited alone to meet the wallet's owner because the other two practitioners had to leave.
The owner of the wallet was a young man, and was so surprised when Ms. Liu returned the money to him. He was extremely grateful and wanted to know how he could thank her. While he was talking, he opened up the trunk of his car and started to take out some fruit and other presents. He wanted to offer some of them as a small token of his appreciation.
Ms. Liu closed the trunk and told the young man that she is a Falun Gong practitioner and that he should really thank her Master. She then clarified the facts to him and helped him quit the CCP. She also gave him DVDs of Traveling Heaven and Earth Through Wind and Rain and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
