(Minghui.org) Police officers from the Caofeidian District of Tangshan(formally known as the Tanghai County Domestic Security Division) have been arresting Falun Gong practitioners in the district over the past month. They claim that the arrests were to meet an arrest quota from their superiors.
On the afternoon of June 4, 2013, Sun Jingsen, deputy director of the Security Division, brought half a dozen officers to arrest Tanghai Town practitioner Ms. Wang Shuqin at her home. Afterwards, they went to practitioner Mr. Zhang Xiaoguang's home in the same town and arrested him.
Two practitioners were taken to the Chengguan Police Station in Tanghai Town. The officers finally released the practitioners after they extorted 400 yuan from each of them and took their fingerprints by force.
On the evening of the same day, Sun and several other officers arrested Ms. Feng Yanyun at the Shilihai Farm. Ms. Feng was released after 10:00 p.m. that evening.
On the morning of June 6, Ms. Zhang Yuzhi of the Caofeidian District Ninth Farm was arrested and taken to the local police station at the farm.
On the afternoon of June 6, Sun led two cars of officers in harassing practitioners in the Huangtuzhuang Production Team of the Caofeidian District Eighth Farm. The police confiscated the practitioners' Dafa books.
Sun Jingsen has been involved in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners for more than ten years. He was one of the people directly responsible for the death of Tanghai Town practitioner Ms. Liu Xingyun in 2006, and the death of practitioner Mr. Li Enying from the Fifth Farm in 2007. Sun is actively persecuting Mr. Zheng Xiangxing in Baoding Prison. Mr. Zheng is a practitioner from the Tenth Farm.
