Mr. Zong Wei and another person were arrested on May 22, 2013.

2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhang Shuhong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shuhong, about 40 years old, was arrested on May 18, 2013.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Yuying Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. Liu Yuying was arrested at home on June 29, 2011. She was sentenced to four years of forced labor by the Tongzhou City Court and has not been allowed to see her family.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Jinhong Detained

Ms. Ding Jinhong, her sister and her mother were arrested in her sister's home on the morning of May 22, 2013. Plainclothes police officer Dong Shiguo and others from the Paoya Police Station made the arrest. The three women were taken to the police station, where Ms. Ding's sister was beaten by Dong Shiguo. The sister and mother were released that afternoon, but Ms. Ding was held at a drug rehabilitation center (used as a detention facility to persecute Falun Gong practitioners) for 10 days.

5. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Chen Ximei, Ms. Chen Xirong, and Ms. Cui Xiuwen were arrested in their home on the afternoon of May 22, 2013. They were sent to the Nong'an County Detention Center. Ms. Chen Ximei was released that evening as she wasn't able to stop vomiting.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Lingli Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Lingli was arrested by police while distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs on May 22, 2013. She was taken to the Dijiao Brainwashing Center.

7. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Guiying Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Dong Guiying was recently arrested by patrol officers while hanging up banners with information about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp and her family is not allowed to see her.

8. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Jianying Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhang Jianying was arrested on May 4, 2013, and taken to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center.

9. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Haiqiong Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Lu Haiqiong was arrested by police in front of the Agricultural Bank on the afternoon of April 26, 2013. She was taken to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center.

10. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Ren Xiuying was arrested on the evening of May 23, 2013.

11. [Tangshan City, H ebei Province] Mr. Meng Fanquan Detained

Mr. Meng Fanquan was arrested at home by officers from the Lubei Police Department and Longdong Police Station on May 23, 2013. He is being held in the Tangshan City Detention Center.

Mr. Yang Jihong's home was ransacked by officers from the police station.

12. [Daxingan Ridge, Heilongjiang Province ] Ms. Se Kuirong and Ms. Wang Xiubo Arrested

Ms. Se Kuirong was arrested by officers from the Hanjiayuanzi Police Department while speaking to people about Falun Gong on May 21, 2013.

Ms. Wang Xiubo was arrested on May 22, 2013.

13. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] A Dozen Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Fan Yinzhi and 11 other Falun Gong practitioners were arrested in Ms. Fan's home on May 17, 2013. More than 20 plainclothes police officers carried out the arrest. Six practitioners were released that day, but Ms. Fan Yinzhi, Ms. Lin Guoqiong, and others have been detained.

14. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Dianzhu Detained

Ms. Liu Dianzhu, in her 60s, was arrested by police officer Huang Jiping and others on the morning of May 21, 2013. The police also ransacked her home. Ms. Liu is being held in the Liaoyuan City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Baodi, in her 60s, was arrested by officers from the Baoshang District Dachang Police Station on May 23, 2013.

16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Xiliang Arrested

Mr. Chen Xiliang, in his 60s, was arrested by officers from the Jianshejie Police Station and Xigang District Domestic Security Division while speaking to people about Falun Gong on May 18, 2013. His home was ransacked. The Jinjiajie Drug Rehabilitation Center, which is used as a detention facility to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, refused to admit Mr. Chen. He was released in the evening.
