(Minghui.org) I have been practicing Falun Gong since November 1998. I have truly felt that Teacher has been right beside me because of the many miracles I have experienced.
My Cousin and I Were Both Cured by Falun Gong
I used to suffer from a myriad of illnesses. The doctor said I had Meniere's Disease, a disorder of the inner ear that can affect hearing and balance to varying degrees. I often felt dizzy and fell down. Sometimes I had such bad headaches that I wanted to hit my head against the wall. I had pain in the left side of my torso and my body was constantly swollen. I thought these were signs that something was wrong with my kidneys. I also had difficulty urinating.
I joined Falun Gong's free group exercise practice in November 1998 when I heard about its healing power. All my pain and discomfort disappeared after only a few days. I started practicing Falun Gong because I thought it was amazing.
My cousin lives in a mountain village. She was also ill and had hyperthyroidism, which made her eyes bulge. She also had Meniere's Disease and gynecological problems, and like me, had a problem with balance. She came to see me in May 1999 with 500 yuan in her pocket. She wanted me to take her to a doctor. My husband didn't let her in at first because he could not even recognize her. I knew 500 yuan would not go very far, so I decided to teach her the Falun Gong exercises instead.
The boom box that played the Falun Gong exercise music broke when she started learning the exercises. I asked if she was carrying anything with her from an evil practice. It turned out she was wearing a pendant. She was reluctant to part with it at first, but agreed after I told her to focus on only one cultivation practice.
The next day we went to a Falun Gong group practice site together. She had to stop in the middle of the second exercise to use the bathroom, but she was completely well the following day, and she was overcome with joy. She wanted to go home right away because she didn't want to impose on me and my family. I told her to stay longer so that she could better learn the exercises. She ended up staying with us for seven days.
She was so weak when she first came that she could hardly carry anything, but she was able to carry as much as 40 lbs when she left. I gave her a Falun Gong exercise music tape and an instructional DVD. She told everyone she met on the way home that Falun Gong had cured her.
The very evening my cousin returned home, she told all the villagers about Falun Gong. Her home was packed with those who wanted to watch Teacher's exercise instruction video. Some people instantly stopped feeling physical pain. A woman's lower back pain disappeared after she watched the video from outside the window.
My Son's Hand Healed While Transcribing Zhuan Falun
Teacher said,
“The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.” (Lecture Three, Zhuan Falun)
Ever since I started practicing, my friends and relatives have benefited from Falun Gong. They think highly of it even though they do not practice.
My son once worked in Guangdong Province. His boss refused to pay him for his work, so he went to talk to him. The boss had his men beat him up. They attacked him with a knife and cut one of his arms several times before he collapsed. The boss's son called an ambulance, but the hospital only dressed the wounds on the surface before those men took him out of the hospital. They pushed him out of the car at a garbage dump.
He managed to crawl to the side of the road and asked a stranger for money to call us. We found him and got him treatment. It turned out that a tendon in his lower arm had been severed. The wounds healed, but he could not rotate his wrist or move his fingers.
I didn't ask him to seek justice but, instead, had him transcribe Zhuan Falun. He was able to use his lower arm and fingers again when he was halfway through, and soon after, he was able to work again.
My son once had a wart on a middle finger, and it bled when he worked. He wanted to get it treated, but I asked him to quit the Chinese Communist Party youth leagues that he'd joined when he was at school. I also had him recite repeatedly, “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The wart disappeared a few days later.
He once went to a public bathhouse when he worked in a different city. Someone took his new underwear while he was taking a bath, so he decided to put on a pair left at the bathhouse. Some time later, his genitals began to itch and he went to a doctor when over-the-counter medicine did not work and was told he had syphilis. My son was upset at the doctor because he hadn't had sex with anyone. He remembered that he might have been infected from wearing someone's dirty underwear. When he called me about it, I told him to recite “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” again. His syphilis disappeared after awhile without any treatment.
A Colleague Cured by Falun Gong
I had a colleague from work that had a pea-sized hemangioma (a birthmark that appears as a bright red patch or a nodule of extra blood vessels in the skin) on one hand. When she was over at my house she saw Teacher's photo and kowtowed to Teacher respectfully. Her hemangioma disappeared shortly afterwards.
She was then diagnosed with a bacterial skin infection, and the physician wanted to have it surgically removed. She came over and asked me what to do, and I had her study Zhuan Falun. She told me excitedly the next morning her skin was as good as new.
She once came to see me with a runny nose from a cold. I was trying to listen to Teacher's audio lecture, so I had her join me. She sat next to me and listened, and her nose stopped running.
My colleague knows Falun Gong is very good, and she often recites “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She has also quit the CCP's two student organizations of which she was once a member.
My Husband Supports Falun Gong
My husband used to suffer from terrible itchiness that required him to put on medicine that had an odor, and he also had psoriasis on his hands. Shortly after I started practicing Falun Gong, my husband stopped having any skin problems. He knows that Falun Gong is good and has read Falun Gong books. I often invited my relatives over and taught them the Falun Gong exercises and provided them with meals and boarding, but he has never complained. He showed his support by helping me with housework.
Teacher Watches over Me
Teacher said,
“If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
I can feel that Teacher is right beside me, watching over me. Teacher cleansed my body and my house when I started practicing Falun Gong.
There was a time when I had to go to work as early as 5:30 a.m., so I needed to get up around 4 a.m. if I wanted to do the exercises for 60 minutes. Sometimes I didn't wake up when the alarm went off, but I would be awakened by the noise of the bedroom door opening with a squeak, although no one was up at the time. I knew Teacher was reminding me that it was time to get up and do the exercises.
I accidentally landed a kitchen knife on a finger while I was chopping vegetables in the kitchen, but the finger was completely unscathed. I knew it was Teacher who protected me from harm.
I once made steamed buns for a living. One day there were many steamed buns left, but it was almost time for me to join a Falun Gong study group. I asked Teacher for help. Many customers showed up quickly and bought the rest of the buns, and I went to the study group on time.
My Family Was Saved from the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake
It is absolutely true that a person will be protected if he quits the CCP and its student organizations and if he recites “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I know it is true because of what happened to my family during the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake.
My older brother, his wife, and his daughter are members of the Communist Party and/or its student organizations. My sister-in-law refused when I offered her a Falun Gong amulet as a gift. She also took my mother's Falun Gong amulet against her will and threw it away.
My mother used to live with my brother before the Sichuan Earthquake. They lived on the fourth floor of a six-story building. My mother and my sister-in-law lived in two adjacent bedrooms. When the building collapsed, both my sister-in-law and my mother were buried under the debris, but my mother was completely unscathed. There were actually three thermoses of hot water within her reach that sustained her until she was rescued two days later.
My niece became desperate after five days. She begged people on her knees to help dig her mother out. My sister-in-law was rescued, but she was so badly injured that she died immediately after she was dug out of the debris.
To this day I still believe she would have survived if only she had recited “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” while she was buried under the debris.
My grandmother is over 80. She may not have had any education, but she believes that Falun Gong is good and often recites “Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She was sleeping in bed when the earthquake hit. The wall collapsed and buried her underneath, but she was completely unscathed. There was air for her to breathe, and she did not call for help but just lay in her bed. After a few hours my brother called her name, but she did not answer at first. “I am old and I will save them the trouble of digging me out,” she thought. However, she found she was still alive after some time. She finally decided to answer when her son called for her again. They followed her voice and dug her out.
Several of my relatives had children who went to school in Sichuan. These children had quit the Communist Party's student leagues before the earthquake, and they all survived.
My Brother-in-Law Unscathed after His Truck Lost a Tire
I believe my husband's younger brother has also been rewarded for quitting the CCP's student leagues. He was transporting bags of flour in his truck when a tire came off. He did not even realize it until people saw friction sparks from where the tire had been and told him to stop. He was shocked when he saw that the tire was gone. However he survived with a tire missing from his truck, which is hard to believe, but I knew that it was Teacher that saved his life.
Father Told Me to Protect Teacher with My Own Life
My father had a different faith for decades. However, he wanted to read Falun Gong's teachings after I shared with him the miracles I had experienced from the practice. I told him that he should only practice one faith, but he insisted on reading the books first. I had no choice but to show him Zhuan Falun, but at least he washed his hands out of respect before he started to read it.
He exclaimed after reading the book. “You have a wonderful teacher. Falun Gong is great! If Falun Gong should face any persecution, you must protect your teacher with your own life, as this is the best cultivation ever. You will not find a better cultivation practice!”
He did not want to give up the religion he had practiced for decades, but at least he died peacefully when he passed away.
There are too many miracles to share. I shall continue doing the three things well and save more people from the Communist Party's lies so that I will not let Teacher down.
