(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners, in collaboration with the Internationale Gesellschaft für Menschenrechte (IGFM), an international society for human rights, participated in a city-sponsored event on June 29-30, 2013, themed, "Democracy and the Great Way of Times," held on Corso Leopold (Liverpool Street) in Munich, Germany.
An informational booth was set up featuring two large banners with the words, "Chinese Communist Party Authorities Harvest Organs from Living People." The words caught the attention of many passersby, and shocked them.
Falun Gong practitioners and the IGFM wanted to inform people of the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), including organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Munich residents sign petition calling for a stop to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong
Chinese students and tourists from China, as well as local Chinese, stopped to read the Dafa-related informational display boards. They also talked to the practitioners about the Party's persecution of Falun Gong. Some quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, right then and there.
Many Chinese signed the petition calling for a stop to the atrocities against Falun Gong, with some people putting their real home addresses on the petition forms.
Across from the practitioners' information table was the Bavarian Party's booth, as the German government elections were well underway. When people stopped by their booth, they could easily see the two large eye-catching banners about organ harvesting.
The practitioners visited each political party's booth and talked with the incumbent members of Congress, state councilors, city council members, and candidates at all levels.
Many politicians expressed their concern about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and said that they would pay close attention to it if they were elected.
Some candidates signed the petition calling on the German government to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
After hearing about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, Susan Anders, a Liberal Party congressional candidate, asked, “What can I do for you?” She said that she would continue to focus on human rights issues in China, and expressed hope that the practitioners would send her additional, detailed information about the persecution.
Lebin Ding, a Falun Gong practitioner whose mother, Ruimei Ma, was illegally sentenced last summer in the First Women's Labor Camp in Shandong Province, China, traveled hundred of miles to attend the event. He has been calling on people in Germany to help rescue his mother for the past year.
After Lebin Ding arrived at the event, he took the opportunity to talk to each politician about his mother's plight. The more the German public became aware of the details surrounding his mother's incarceration, the more pressure they put on their elected officials to do something about it. As a result, his mother's situation has improved in the labor camp.
The public seems to have little tolerance for the CCP crimes against humanity, which is the main reason that they enthusiastically signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution in China.
The public knows that the signed petition forms will be sent directly to the candidates of each constituency, and thus feel that their voices are definitely being heard.
One man took Dafa-related informational materials to each political party's booth, asking the candidates to do the right thing if they are elected.
Ti Mubarak, who is in charge of the Munich Division of IGFM, said, "This event [Democracy and the Great Way of Times] is well-known in Munich and centers around human rights issues. Since the human rights violations in China are so serious, we decided to focus only on human rights issues in Chin, during this event.
"That’s why we have, together with Falun Gong, set up an information booth to collect petition signatures, help make people aware of the crimes of the CCP organ harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners, and at the same time collect petitions for Gao Zhisheng, a human rights lawyer in China. Many people have noticed our booth and happily signed our petitions."
