(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Romania gathered at Tower Park in the capital city of Bucharest on the afternoon of July 20, 2013, to mark the 14th anniversary of their efforts to end the persecution.
Practitioners distributed informational leaflets to passersby, demonstrated the exercises, and talked to people about the Chinese Communist regime-staged Tiananmen self-immolation and the brutal persecution in China.
Many pedestrians stopped to read the information displayed on the posters. They could not understand why the communist regime would persecute its own people because of a peaceful belief. Having been made aware of the facts of the persecution, passersby were shocked and condemned such heinous acts. Many of them signed a petition to express their support for Falun Gong practitioners.
