(Minghui.org) When our local group was preparing to host Shen Yun, we discussed how to better connect with the mainstream Western society. I recently discovered that there is a direct relationship between helping overseas Chinese withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and hosting Shen Yun. My understanding evolved after speaking with some Western fellow practitioners.
A female practitioner shared that practitioners in her country made a very significant breakthrough in securing a qualified venue to host Shen Yun. They felt that a very important factor in the process involved a breakthrough in persuading local Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Their understanding is that Chinese people are beings that have come from very high levels and encompass critical factors in the local environment. Even if some overseas Chinese may not have integrated into the mainstream society, their misunderstandings toward Falun Dafa can become huge obstacles in other dimensions, interfering with securing a venue and the overall promotion.
She told me that practitioners in her area now visit one Chinese restaurant after another and successfully persuade dozens of people to withdraw from the CCP every day. The overall environment has thus changed for the better.
After hearing this, I gained a better understanding of the principle of “holistic improvement and holistic upgrade” (Zhuan Falun).
The process of hosting Shen Yun reflects the cultivation state of practitioners in that country. Doing well in various aspects of truth clarification can have a direct impact on other projects.
A practitioner from another country also shared her understanding. She hopes that Western practitioners everywhere can join truth-clarification efforts at tourist sites. Due to the CCP's persecution, some Chinese tourists possess a sense of distrust and even hostility towards other Chinese. When they see Westerners holding up banners and distributing flyers, they are shocked, and this has the power to challenge their notions toward Falun Dafa.
