(Minghui.org) In 1996, Qigong was very popular in Mainland China, and people were everywhere practicing different Qigong. However, it was said that Falun Gong was the most effective in healing illnesses. We had all kinds of illnesses at that time, so we started to practice Falun Gong.
Our Fa-study group grew
There were five Falun Gong practitioners in my workplace so we decided to practice together. We got up at 4 a.m. every day and did the exercises for two hours, and we studied the Fa at 7 p.m. for two hours. We were very diligent and within a month, our illnesses disappeared and we looked younger than before. We were very happy and let our families and friends benefit by telling them that Falun Dafa is good. Master said:
“Dafa is being spread far and wide. Those who hear about it are looking for it. Those who have obtained it are delighted with it. The number of cultivators is increasing daily and becoming countless.” (“Seeking Discipleship with Teacher” in Essentials for Further Advancement)
In July 1999, Jiang Zemin initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners from all across the country came out to appeal. By this time our practice group had grown to ten practitioners. Some of us went to the provincial capital and some went to Beijing to appeal. We were arrested and detained, so our Fa-study sessions could not continue.
A new Fa study group was formed in 2001, and included practitioners from neighboring towns. There was now about a dozen practitioners in the group. We met once a week and talked about how to validate the Fa, rescue fellow practitioners and clarify the facts to save sentient beings.
The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published at the end of 2004, and our focus was to hand out the book to help people understand the nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). We studied the Fa on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. By 2009, there were twenty-plus practitioners in our group, and in 2010, Fa study sessions were held every day. We cultivated by sharing our experiences together. Our group had now grown to forty-plus practitioners.
Four practitioners had their own houses. We talked to them to see if we could hold the Fa study sessions in each of their homes. Therefore, for safety reasons, we spent two nights in each of three houses and one night in the fourth one. Before 7 p.m. and after 9 p.m., we sent forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate old force elements.
Being consistent and cooperating well
Master said:
“All of the gong and Fa lie in the book, and one will naturally obtain them by reading Dafa. Those who learn it will change automatically, and they will already be in the Dao when they read the book over and over again.” (“Seeking Discipleship with Teacher” in Essentials for Further Advancement)
Our group has studied all of the Dafa books and Master's lectures nine times, and studied Zhuan Falun hundreds of times. Everyone is very diligent in clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings.
Since 2011, we started to distribute truth clarification materials during the daytime instead of at night. We talked to people face to face and helped them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We also went to small towns nearby to distribute truth clarification materials.
To help celebrate World Falun Dafa Day we went to a neighboring town on May 12, 2013 to hang up a banner with the message, “Falun Dafa is good!” Three people came out on to the street right after two practitioners had finished hanging the banner. The two practitioners acted as if they had just seen the banner. One elderly practitioner asked the other one loudly, “What does it say?” One of the three guys said, “It says Falun Dafa is good!” The practitioner smiled, “Oh, right! I have heard that Falun Dafa is indeed very good.”
Master is always with us
On April 8 of the lunar calendar, the wife of an elderly couple from another Fa study group went out to talk to people about Falun Gong, leaving her husband at home to take care of their four-year-old grandson. However, the child disappeared after a while. His grandpa looked for him everywhere. Then he heard someone crying from behind the back door. He rushed over and saw his grandson. His whole body was wet and there was mud on his forehead. There was a fishpond nearby. He held his grandson and asked, “Did you fall into the fishpond?” “Yes,” the kid replied. “The water is so deep, how did you get out?” his grandpa asked. “Master took me out, ” he replied. His grandpa was very surprised, “What does Master look like?” “He was wearing yellow clothes,” he said. His grandpa was very excited and had tears in his eyes, “That's right. It was Master's Law Body that saved you.”
During the Dragon Boat Festival, as usual a lot of villagers were out boating. There were many tourists there, so practitioners took the opportunity to clarify the facts to them and distribute truth clarification materials. An elderly practitioner was caught by the police when she was busy passing out fliers. Four officers surrounded her and dragged her into a police car. She shouted, “Master, please help me! Help me!” The police seemed worried and looked around. At that time, the practitioner managed to escape and ran in amongst the crowd. She then went to another area to hand out materials.
“Don't tell me you have supernatural abilities!”
A practitioner gave a government official some truth clarification materials and asked him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The person immediately destroyed the materials, grabbed the practitioner's hand and walked her towards the police station. The practitioner kept sending righteous thoughts and inscribed the word “eliminate” in the air. Right after she finished writing that character, the person turned over his head with a worried look asking, “How come I suddenly feel very uncomfortable? Don't tell me you have supernatural abilities!” He quickly let go of her hand and asked the practitioner to leave as soon as possible.

Three practitioners were caught by the police when they were distributing truth clarification materials on the street and were taken to the police station. Two young practitioners sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts in the station. Another elderly practitioner talked to the police about Falun Gong. An hour later, a policeman pointed to one practitioner sitting on the floor and shouted, “Look! Her head is smoking!” The police were very shocked, and the head of the police station also came to take a look. He said, “Let them go! Let them go! Otherwise, we will not feel good.”
Hearing that, the three practitioners walked out of the police station. Before leaving the elderly practitioner said, “As long as you remember that Falun Dafa is good, you will be blessed.” The head of police replied happily, “We want to be blessed. We will remember that Falun Dafa is good for sure!”
