Ms. Wang Molian Harassed after Her Release from Hubei Women’s Forced Labor Camp

Sept. 20, 2013 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Hubei Province, China

(Minghui.org) Because the Chinese communist regime is shutting down its forced labor camp system, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Molian of Xiangyang City in Hubei Province was released recently from Hubei Women’s Forced Labor Camp. However, the police from Xiangyang Domestic Security Division and National Security Department continue to harass her.

On the evening of September 21, 2012, as Ms. Wang, Mr. Cheng Xiaobao, and Ms. Liu Xueyan were giving away Shen Yun DVDs in Yushan Town, Xiangyang City, they were arrested by officer Zhao Feng and others from the Yushan Police Station. The police took their keys and ransacked their unoccupied homes. The following officers participated in the illegal searches: Xiangyang City Domestic Security Team head Yu, Xiangzhou District Domestic Security Team head Deng Yongshan, Yushan Police Station officer Tao, and several residential management employees from the Railroad Research Institute.

From Mr. Cheng Xiaobao’s home, the police confiscated a computer, an MP5, a cell phone, an MP3, a bank certificate of deposit, Falun Gong books and flyers, and a portrait of Master Li. They also damaged the door curtain.

From Ms. Liu's home, the police took Master Li’s portrait, two laptop computers, four DVD burners, 1000 blank DVDs, 10 bottles of ink, 200 DVD cases, 6 packs of printing paper, and nine cases of Shen Yun DVDs.

From Ms. Wang's home, the police confiscated two laptop computers, a DVD burner tower, a Cannon color printer, 500 yuan in cash, three cell phones, a box of printer paper, a USB thumb drive, Master Li’s portrait, many Falun Gong books and flyers, and other items.

Following interrogations led by officer Zhang Fuchao from Yushan Police Station, all three practitioners were illegally sentenced to forced labor. Mr. Cheng Xiaobao and Ms. Liu Xueyan were deemed too weak for forced labor, so they were released. Ms. Wang was sent to the Hubei Women’s forced Labor Camp on September 27, 2012 to serve a one-year sentence.

The labor camp barred Ms. Wang family from visiting. Due to severe persecution, her health dramatically deteriorated. At this time, she can't even walk without help.

Ms. Wang was repeatedly arrested in the past for her belief. Back in May 2000, police raided her home after her visit to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The police took her entire collection of Falun Gong books. In April 2001, she was arrested and her home was ransacked again. In 2005, she was arrested by officer Zhu Chunlin and others from Xiangyang City 610 Office and Dongfeng Motor City Police Station. The police confiscated a laptop computer, a laser printer, a Samsung smartphone, and an inkjet colored printer.
