(Minghui.org) Officials from the Wanzhou District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the 610 Office have recently launched another round of persecution requiring all units, departments, townships, organizations at the grass-roots level, schools, and universities to slander Falun Gong.
Undercover police have been monitoring practitioners' activities at malls, piers, stations, alleys, major roads, public and residential parks, and playgrounds.
Liu Ping, the head of the 610 Office, accompanied by the neighborhood committee staff, searched for practitioners in a number of locations. He talked to the practitioners in an effort to “transform” them and took photos of them.
Strangers and police vehicles have shown up outside of practitioners' home. Some practitioners have gotten harassing phone calls from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, 610 Offices, and police stations.
Students attending universities and schools around Longdu Plaza were forced to distribute propaganda materials slandering Falun Gong.
The head of the Gaofeng Township forced village cadres to distribute anti-Falun Gong materials to villagers.
Zhou Shiyin and other security guards in Jiuchi Township ransacked practitioners' homes.
These people are probably afraid and feel guilty, so they do not reveal their real names and true identities when persecuting practitioners. Nevertheless, they cannot hide.
On one occasion, Liu Ping, the head of the 610 Office, and other officers broke into a practitioner's home. Only the husband was at home. Liu Ping pretended to be nice and asked him many questions.
The husband, a non-practitioner, knew they came to harass his wife. He told them, “You don't have to say anything. I know why you are here.”
Liu Ping asked, “Is your wife still practicing Falun Gong?” The husband replied, “There are many people practicing Falun Gong worldwide. So why can't my wife practice it? Your leader has already been arrested, so why are you still asking me questions like that?
"You've made a big mistake by bringing these people to my house. What happened to Zhou Yongkang today could happen to you tomorrow. I think it's time you quit your job, because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will fall apart soon. I suggest that you stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. I'd like to sing a couple of Falun Dafa songs to you.” Liu Ping and the officers left immediately.
