(Minghui.org) From January 8 to 10, Falun Gong practitioners in Helsinki held a series of activities, exposing the organ harvesting atrocities in China to the attendees of a medical science conference.

Many doctors and nurses at the conference stopped at the practitioners' booth and learned about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

People were shocked when hearing about forced organ harvesting in China. Several doctors said that they would bring up this issue at the conference, and initiate discussions on how to help stop the crime.

Many people encouraged practitioners to continue their efforts, and signed the petition, condemning the persecution.

Ms. Pirjo, a dentist, and her friend had never heard about the Chinese regime harvesting the organs of Falun Gong practitioners. Ms. Zhu, a practitioner who had been jailed for eight years in China for her belief in Falun Gong, shared with them her own experience of being tortured in prison.

Ms. Chu told them that after she was released, she learned that her mother-in-law, also a practitioner, had been tortured to death by the local police. Her 60-year-old aunt was also killed as result of the persecution. Her husband was sentenced to two years in a labor camp.

Ms. Pirjo and her friend were deeply moved by Ms. Chu's story and signed the petition.
