(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Danfeng, a Falun Gong practitioner, is employed as an engineer with Company No. 2 in Gezhouba, Hubei Province. He works in the branch office in Sichuan Province.
His first wife passed away as a result of persecution, and he recently re-married. He was arrested at home and taken to a brainwashing center for practicing Falun Gong.
Mr. Wang was on vacation in November and stayed in Yichang City in Hubei Province for a few days.
Li Deshan with the security section of the branch office in Sichuan, acting on orders handed down by Zhou Xiangdong and Zhao Ping, captains of the Domestic Security Division of Pinghu District Police Department in Gezhouba, told Mr. Wang he had to go to the brainwashing center. When he refused to cooperate, Zhou Xiangdong and others looked up Mr. Wang's home address, monitored his cell phone, and told the police to arrest him.
Qiu Shilong, director of Jiaohu Police Station of Pinghu District Police Department, and others with the Security Section of Company No. 2, broke in Mr. Wang's home and arrested him even before he could put on his shoes on the morning of November 15, 2013. They took him to the brainwashing center located in Banqiao in Wuhan City, which was set up to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
Qiu Shilong (邱诗龙), director of Jiaohu Police Station in Gezhouba: +86-717-6718989 (Office), +86-717-6712483 (Home). Qiu was involved in arresting Zhang Yuhong and He Jingyan in September 2005. These two practitioners were then sentenced to from five to seven years.
Cheng Rui (程锐), deputy director of Jiaohu Police Station (also in charge of domestic security on behalf of the station) in Gezhouba: +86-18972592565 (Cell). Cheng was a former deputy director of Xiba Police Station. He has actively participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, including many practitioners employed by Gezhouba Electrical Power Plant. A number of older practitioners passed away because they were pressured and intimidated, such as Aunt Sha and Wang Zhengxiu with the foundation company, Zhang Yanling and Wang Youhan with the power plant, etc.
Zhou Xiangdong (周向东) and Zhao Ping (赵平), captains of the Domestic Security Division of Pinghu District Police Department. Both of them have actively participated in persecuting all the Falun Gong practitioners on the blacklist in Gezhouba since July 20, 1999 (see below).
Zhao Ping, around 50, has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in Gezhouba behind the scenes since 1999, including Li Dan, Zhao Xun, Zheng Dejun, Song Xiaobing, Wang Wenlin, Zhang Yuhong, Zhang Yongsheng, Fan Changhua, etc. He extended their sentences, had them sentenced to forced labor, had them sentenced illegally, sent them to be brainwashed, had them tracked and monitored, put them under surveillance, monitored their phones, etc. In 1999, Zhao Ping extorted funds from the practitioners who went to Beijing and were sent back by their liaison office in Beijing to the tune of up to 1200 yuan per trip. He claimed that the money was for traveling expenses, fuel costs, and accommodations but didn't give any receipts.
Zhou Xiangdong, around 50, was demoted from the level of battalion in the army. He has actively participated in persecuting the Falun Gong practitioners in Gezhouba since 1999. He also carried out surveillance, monitored the practitioners' phones, secretly sent someone to track the whereabouts of practitioners, stole practitioners' personal property without any documentation, and arrested practitioners and sent them to brainwashing centers. He even cursed female practitioners his mother's age.
