(Minghui.org) Taipei Falun Gong practitioners exposed the Chinese regime’s crime of organ trafficking on the busy streets of Ximending on October 18. They organized a torture reenactment to show how the Chinese regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many passersby signed the petition to show their support and help stop the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong.

The activity drew the attention of people passing by in cars, on scooters and on the streets. They took photos or videotaped the reenactment. Many took informational fliers about the persecution and signed the petition.

Many Chinese tourists stopped to learn more. Some of them quietly told the practitioners that they knew about the persecution and felt it was wrong. Some said with pride, “I have already quit (the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.”
Eighteen-year-old Mr. Wu came to Taiwan from China two years ago. He said that he once had a friend in China who joined the military and mysteriously died. His parents from Harbin rushed to Shenyang hoping to see his remains, but the military cremated his body just a few hours after he died. Wu said, “I believe that the CCP harvests organs from living people. They are capable of anything.”
Wu said, “This information is blocked in China. Many people in China still don’t know about the June 4th Massacre. I learned the truth about it only after I came to Taiwan. The persecution of Falun Gong in China is really bad. In China, I was told many bad things about the practice. After I left China, what I saw and heard was completely different from when I was in China.”
As a Christian, Wu couldn’t understand why the CCP persecutes good people like practitioners as well as the Christians and Catholics. He decided to renounce his membership in the Communist Young Pioneers.
A kindergarten-age girl watched the organ removal reenactment and said, “Is this really happening?” A practitioner told her that the police and doctors in China really put innocent people on the surgical table and sells their hearts and livers for profit. The girl said, “Then (the police and doctors) are bad people!”
A third grader, Li, earnestly signed the petition. Two sisters in second and third grade signed the petition and hugged their mother excitedly. Their mother encouraged them, “Well done, I am proud of you.”
A group of young men walked pass the reenactment. One of them explained the story and persecution to the others. Another one in the group turned around and asked to sign the petition, saying, “This is the time to support justice.”
A student majoring in medicine stood in front of the reenactment and asked his friend to take a picture of him. This aspiring doctor told a practitioner, “I will certainly come across this issue in the future. This photo will help me remember how to never become the tool and accomplice of the evil.”
Mr. Jiang Limin played the role of the practitioner whose organs were stolen in the reenactment.
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Jiang Limin played the role of the practitioner whose organs were forcibly taken. He had to lie on the table still under the burning sun for more than two hours each time. He said that he held the tribulations his fellow practitioners were suffering in China at the forefront of his mind the entire time.
“The most important thing is to expose the evil organ harvesting and to stop it,” said Jiang.
Mr. Song Yueshu played the doctor in the reenactment.
Computer programmer Mr. Song Yueshu played the doctor who cut the practitioner open on the surgical table. Mr. Song became a practitioner eight years ago when his younger brother told him about it.
Mr. Song believes that the illegal organ harvesting in China is still unknown to many people in Taiwan. “Many people went to China to get organ transplants without realizing that they have became accomplices of the Chinese regime’s crime,” said Mr. Song.
Mr. Pan Yi’an played the policeman in the reenactment.
Mr. Pan Yi’an, who played the CCP policeman in the reenactment, said he learned about Falun Gong in 1999 when news of the persecution first broke. He was instantly curious about Falun Gong and decided to look into it. He discovered the health benefits of the practice and became a practitioner a year later.
When asked if he struggled in his heart while playing the police officer who beats practitioners, he said that he just wanted to help more people become aware of the persecution.
“Perhaps I can awaken a sense of justice and conscience in people so that together we can help stop forced organ harvesting in China. We all play an important role and I want to do my best to stop this atrocity,” said Mr. Pan.
