(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 46 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Seven practitioners including Ms. Hu Yiyin were arrested at Ms. Hu's home by officers from the Sanjie Town Police Station and Pengzhou City 610 Office on October 14, 2014, for studying the Falun Gong books. Ms. Hu was taken to the Pengzhou City Detention Center and all others were released that evening.

2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Guanghua's Home Ransacked

Mr. Zhou Guanghua's home was ransacked by Liu Guangfu (刘光富) from the Aoping Town 610 Office and officers from that town's police station on the afternoon of October 14, 2014. They confiscated two pictures of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books.

3. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Li Yulin Arrested

Mr. Li Yulin was arrested on October 2, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

4. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinlan Detained

Ms. Zhang Jinlan, 53, was arrested at home by officers from the Yaxi Police Station on the morning of October 9, 2014. The police ransacked her home. She is being held at the Rongcheng City Detention Center.

5. [Beijing] Ms. An Xiuzhi Arrested

Ms. An Xiuzhi was arrested by officers from the Yuqiao Police Station on October 13, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

6. [Jianli County, Hubei Province] Ms. Huang Chunmei and Mr. Liu Jingli Detained

Ms. Huang Chunmei and Mr. Liu Jingli were recently arrested and taken to the Qianjiang City Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Ms. Shi Dajie Arrested

Ms. Shi Dajie, in her 70s, was arrested at home by officers from the Jialingdao Police Station of the Nankai Police Department on September 23, 2014.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Ge and Ms. Fan Liping Arrested

Mr. Zhang Ge and his wife Ms. Fan Liping were arrested by officers from the Chengxi Town Police Station on October 15, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners including Mr. Wang Yajie and Mr. Li Yuan were arrested on the morning of October 15, 2014.

10. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Huifeng's Home Ransacked

Officers from the Ji County Police Department and the Bangjun Police Station ransacked Ms. Zhang Huifeng's home on October 15, 2014. They confiscated Falun Gong books, an MP3 player, and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Hong, her daughter Ms. Liu Ying, and her elder brother were arrested by officers from Changchun on the morning of October 15, 2014. The police ransacked her home.

12. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Li Qiyao Detained

Ms. Li Qiyao was arrested at Wujiang City in late September 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Wujiang City Detention Center.

13. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Xiangtang Sentenced

Ms. Hao Xiangtang was sentenced to a five-year prison term by the Xingtai Court, and was taken to the Jidong Prison by Xingtai officers on September 22, 2014.

14. [Gongan County, Hubei Province] Mr. Tang Chunhui Arrested

Mr. Tang Chunhui was arrested by officers from the Mahaokou Town Police Station in Gongan County on October 14, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

15. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Li Peigao Arrested

Mr. Li Peigao was arrested and taken to the Fengning Police Station on the morning of October 9, 2014, for distributing informational CDs about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was released that day.

16. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Tian Hua Arrested

Mr. Tian Hua was arrested on the morning of October 15, 2014. The police ransacked his home.

17. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Six Practitioners Detained

Ms. Feng Ping, Ms. Xiao Guixian, Ms. Zhou Minjun, Ms. Gui Hua, and Ms. Xin Yu were arrested in Shimen County on October 13, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Zhang Meiying was arrested at home on October 14, 2014. All are being held at the Shimen County Detention Center in Changde City.

18. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liao Heping and Ms. Zang Honghong Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liao Heping was arrested by officers from the Zhucheng Sub-District Office in Xinzhou District and the Zhuchengjie Police Station on October 11, 2014.

Ms. Zang Honghong was also arrested by officers from the Yangluo Sub-District Office and the Yangluojie Police Station on the same day.

Both are being held at the Xinzhou District Liuji Brainwashing Center.

20. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Guo Hongxia, Ms. Zhang Liyan, Ms. Wang Yuzhi, Ms. Yang Yufan, and Ms. Shan Jinli and her son were arrested at Ms. Guo's home by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Shuangyashan City Police Department and a dozen officers from the Jianshan Police Department.

Ms. Guo's husband and nanny who are not practitioners were also arrested. Ms. Guo was taken to the Jianshan Police Department and all others was taken to the Xiangyang Police Station. The nanny and Ms. Guo were released.

Ms. Qiu Shuying, who visited Ms. Zhang's home on the evening of October 14, 2014, was also arrested by officers who were ransacking Ms. Zhang's home. Ms. Qiu was released.

Ms. Tan was arrested and the police ransacked her home on the morning of October 15, 2014.
