(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhang Xuexia (张学霞) and Ms. Zhang Chunzhi (张春枝) from Pingyuan County were arrested on August 8, 2014, and have been held for over a month.
Xuexia is being held in the Dezhou Detention Center and Chunzhi is in the “Education Base” (i.e. brainwashing center) in Dezhou. Xuexia's case has been submitted to the Procuratorate, and her family has been harassed.
Chunzhi is about 60, and Xuexia is 40. Both ladies were talking about Falun Gong to people in Guanfang Township on the morning of August 8, 2014. They were reported to the police and taken to the Taoyuan Office, and then transferred to the police department.
From Xuexia's cell phone, the police were able to get the phone numbers of her family. That afternoon they ransacked her home, confiscating a computer, plastic sealer, mounting machine, two cutting machines, nine printers, and copy machines. They also took approximately 100 Falun Dafa books. The items were worth more than 10,000 yuan.
The Pingyuan police reported her to the Dezhou Police Department, and several police vehicles soon arrived. The police took her belongings after taking pictures. Xuexia's husband was also arrested and held until 6 p.m.
The officers later took Xuexia's husband and her son, who had just graduated from college, to the police department. The two were interrogated. When they learned that her son had left his laptop at his classmate's home, the officers escorted him to get it.
When Xuexia's family asked for the laptop to be returned, they were told that it would not be returned until after her case was closed. The officers also confiscated two electric bikes that Xuexia and her son used to get to work. They also took 3,000 yuan.
Following this incident, the officers often called Xuexia's husband and son, day or night, ordering them to the police department for interrogation, which severely interfered with their lives and especially their jobs. Xuexia's daughter was also harassed at work by the police.
