(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Bai Ying was arrested at the Zhengzhou Railway Station by officers from the Railway Police Station on October 25, 2014. She was taken to the police station and after being held for 24 hours, she was transferred to the Police Department Detention Center of the Zhengzhou Railway Bureau.

Ms. Liu Qiaozhen, from Jinxiang County, Shandong Province, has been held at the Xuzhou Detention Center in Jiangsu Province for more than a year. Her husband, Mr. Li Yongjun, thought of appealing for her release at the Feng County Court in Jiangsu Province. However, he was arrested on his way to the court by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Feng County Police Department on June 6, 2014. He is being held at the Feng County Detention Center.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Twelve Practitioners Detained
Ms. Zhang Chunling, Ms. Yang Yuxia, Mr. Shao Minggang, Ms. Zhao Yanqin, Ms. Sun Xiujie, Ms. Tong Guifen, and Ms. Fan Lingxiu were arrested by officers from the Jinzhou City Police Department on October 31, 2014. They are being held at a detention center.
Ms. Wang Yuqing, Ms. Xiao Peizi, Mr. Wang Jun, Ms. Zhu Eryun, and Ms. Zhang Yuling were arrested on the morning of November 4, 2014. They are being held at the Jinzhou Detention Center.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Ms. Ding Shuhui, Ms. Yu Caihua, and another elderly practitioner were arrested by officers from the Acheng District Domestic Security Division, the Jinshangjing Police Station, and the Zhanqian Police Station on the afternoon of November 3, 2014. The police ransacked Ms. Yu's home and also arrested her husband and father-in-law who were released that evening.
Ms. Ding, Ms. Yu, and the elderly practitioner are being held at the Yazijuan No. 2 Detention Center in Harbin City.

12. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Qiaolan Sentenced
Ms. Wang Qiaolan was secretly sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Yangquan City Intermediate Court, the Pingding County Court, the Procuratorate, the Police Department, and the Justice Department on November 4, 2014.

Mr. Sun Maorui was sentenced to a three year and three month prison term.
14. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Two Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center and One Arrested
Ms. Zhou Saiying, 63, was arrested and taken to the Xiaojun Brainwashing Center on November 1, 2014.
Ms. Li Jianyun, in her 80s, was also arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on November 1, 2014.
Ms. Hu Xiaofen was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on the morning of October 31, 2014. She was released after two days.
15. [Tongling City, Anhui Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Ms. Xu Yinghua, Ms. Zhang Jinzhi, Ms. Zheng Zaiju, and Ms. Xu Xueqin were recently arrested by officers from Tongling City. They are being held at the Tongling City Detention Center.
16. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Detained and One Arrested
Ms. Yu Shuxiang was arrested at home by Wang Yuhui from the 610 Office of the Nancha District Police Department and officers on the morning of October 24, 2014. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, audio, e-book, laptop computer, and other personal items.
Ms. Yang Wenping was arrested on the morning of October 27, 2014. The police confiscated her table and wall calendars because they contained information about the persecution of Falun Gong, her Falun Gong books, laptop computer, and other personal items.
Ms. Li Huiyun was also arrested on October 27, 2014.
Ms. Yu and Ms. Yang were held at the Yichun Detention Center for 15 days. Ms. Li was released on the evening of October 27, 2014, because the detention center refused to accept her due to high blood pressure.
17. [Shanghai] Ms. Yue Hongying and Ms. Fang Suzhen Sentenced
Ms. Yue Hongying, 77, and Ms. Fang Suzhen, 75, were recently sentenced to a four-year and three-year prison term by the Shanghai Court, respectively.
18. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Xiufen and Mr. Wang Shuxiang Arrested
Ms. Xu Xiufen was arrested on October 26, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Wang Shuxiang was arrested on October 30, 2014.
