(Minghui.org) “Falun Gong practitioners are so perseverant. They express their beliefs through painting. We are very moved and respectful of that. We have gotten to learn a page of history, something that we didn't know was happening in the world.”
Ms. Prnnipa and Ms. Varaporn left those comments in the guest book at the Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truth, Compassion, Tolerance) International Exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand. The exhibition was on display from October 27-31, 2014.
Thailand is primarily a Buddhist country, and many of its citizens practice Buddhism. Viewers were sympathetic to Falun Gong, a cultivation practice of the Buddha School that is persecuted in China, and praised the meaning of the paintings in their guest book comments.
The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truth, Compassion, Tolerance) International Exhibition was held at the 14 Tula Memorial Hall in Bangkok, Thailand from October 27 to October 31, 2014
Young viewers appreciate the paintings
Visitors to the exhibition learn the Falun Gong exercises
Mr. Vichai commented that one of the paintings, “Who Am I,” left him with a deep impression. He said he observed that the lotus flowers were shimmering in the painting. He thought that the woman in the painting looked like an angel who didn't know her own self anymore over thousands of years of reincarnation. She learned the meaning of life and secret of returning to one's true self from a book and a lotus flower gift from a Falun Gong practitioner.
Some visitors to the exhibition learned the gentle Falun Gong exercises in the exhibit hall. Many took information about the practice and the persecution. People were very happy to receive the exquisite origami lotus flowers. They gestured with their palms pressed together: a Buddhist expression of sincere thanks.
Below are additional comments left by viewers in the guest book:
Ms. Wanpen: “I feel a sense of serenity and harmony in my heart when viewing the paintings. I hope everyone can come. We will all be happier.”
Mr. Somchai: “This exhibition is very good and helpful. I have learned the origin and truth of Falun Gong. The paintings are very beautiful.”
Mr. Nipat: “The exhibition is very good. I'm very supportive. I wish the event a great success!”
