(Minghui.org) A practitioner and I were out talking to people about Falun Dafa. We ran into a family at a supermarket. The young mother was holding a baby boy who had the most beautiful shiny silky black hair. I asked, “How old is the baby? He has got a great head of hair.” The young mother said, “He just turned three months old.” The grandma also smiled.
I asked, “Do you have a DVD player or a computer at home?” The young mother said yes. I took out a Shen Yun performance DVD and handed it to her, “This is a beautiful performance of pure traditional Chinese culture. It will bring blessings to your entire family.” She happily accepted it and held it against her chest as if it was something that she had been waiting for.
“We finally found Falun Dafa. Do you have anything that can help my mom get started? We all know that Falun Dafa is good.” It turned out, the grandma had been diagnosed with a blood disorder. They had heard that Falun Dafa was great for healing illness and keeping fit so the mother and daughter had been looking for a practitioner for a while.
I told them, “Watch the Shen Yun performance first. You'll be surprised what it could do for you.” I also promised that I would get them a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of the practice. They both were very grateful and said, “Thank you. It is great that we ran into you today.”
I delivered the book a few days later. As I was approaching the meeting place, I saw from afar the young mother holding the baby and waiting eagerly. She had a big smile on her face when she took the book and music disc from me, “It is so nice of you, to even come this far to drop off the book.” I replied, “Of course.”
Master has said,
“...because the people of the world are becoming more and more aware. People will come to you on their own to hear about the true situation, and people will come to you on their own to learn our practice. That's about to happen, and in Mainland China the entire population is going to step forward to oppose the persecution.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference”)
Fellow practitioners, let's all step forward to awaken more people and fulfill our vows, as all sentient beings are waiting.
