Letter from China: This Falun Gong Book Is Not For Sale, Not at Any Price

Dec. 11, 2014 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) A relative from Beijing told me a couple of years ago that he refused to sell his copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, to a professor, regardless of the price offered.

This relative of mine came across an elderly professor as he was walking in the neighborhood, and they had a good chat. The professor said, “Do not believe the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda! Do you realize how precious the Falun Gong book Zhuan Falun is? Too bad I cannot find a copy anywhere!”

“Is that so? I have one at home,” my relative replied.

The professor was surprised: “Really? Will you sell it to me? If so, I'll pay you 5000 yuan. I can go home and get you the cash now.”

“Oh no, my copy is not for sale no matter how much you are willing to pay!” my relative said.

My relative learned of Falun Gong from a practitioner before the persecution began in 1999. Though he does not practice himself, he has a very positive opinion of it.

He often openly has been heard to say: “The CCP keeps saying that Falun Gong is not good, and TV, radio, and the newspapers all repeat the same propaganda. How come it doesn't dare to let Falun Gong speak for itself? This, in itself, shows that the CCP is the one that has a problem.”

He indicated that he was still holding on to his copy of Zhuan Falun when he visited me again this year: “That book is not for sale, period.”
