Qiaocheng Police Break Into Homes of Elderly Practitioners

Dec. 7, 2014 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Anhui Province, China

(Minghui.org) Officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Qiaocheng District Police Department have actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong for the past several years.

These officers recently broke into the home of an 86-year-old, blind practitioner. They threatened her, and confiscated her personal belongings.

The officers forced their way in the home of a 70-year-old practitioner in October 2014, and confiscated many personal belongings. When the practitioner asked why they were doing such a thing, the officers said, “Because you practice Falun Gong.”

The police ransacked a 90-year-old practitioner's home in May 2014, and confiscated a computer, a printer, and cash. When she asked why they were confiscating her belongings, the officers didn't answer.

Qiacheng police have also arrested Ms. Liu Xinrong, Ms. Ming Xinrong, Ms. Wu Ran, and Ms. Wang Ling this year, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

They arrested 15 practitioners in September 2013, and charged them with being “members of an underground.” The charge has been refuted several times.
